Blueberry Bliss Lip Balm

I've tried a bunch of lip balms, but this one's a game-changer for dry lips. It's got real blueberry extract that keeps my lips moisturized for hours and has a subtle sweetness to it.

A Balm That Falls Short of My Expectations: A Mixed Bag

summarizeEditor's Summary

I was really stoked about this balm at first - the packaging is cute, the scent is amazing, and it's super easy to apply. But after using it for a week, I'm not so sure it's worth the cash. The build quality is decent, but the battery life is shorter than I expected. I picked it up on sale for 80 rubles, but now that it's up to 190 rubles without discounts, I'm not convinced it's a good value for money. Here's the deal - it's not a total dud, but it's not a game-changer either.

A Balm That Falls Short of My Expectations: A Mixed Bag
I was initially drawn in by this balm's cute packaging and appealing scent - a yogurt-blueberry smell and taste that's top-notch. Unlike cheaper balms, it doesn't have that awful chemical aftertaste. The consistency is comfy and not sticky, making it a pleasure to apply.
My balms: new, bought a few on impulse and the old one is all worn out I picked up this balm on sale for 80 rubles, which I thought was a decent deal considering its price point. However, now that I've seen it go up to 190 rubles without discounts, I'm not so sure it's worth the money.
Instructions and ingredients The packaging is another positive aspect of this balm - it's cute, convenient to hold in your hand, and doesn't leak in your purse or melt. But the print on the tube faded in just a couple of weeks, and the sticker starts to peel off, leaving a sticky residue.

The Verdict: A Balm That Falls Short
Unfortunately, all the positives I mentioned earlier are completely ruined by the complete lack of moisturizing or nourishing effect. I applied it to my lips constantly, but there's no sense of relief. In fact, my mom's lips didn't just stay dry, but actually started to crack and flake after using this balm.
I'm really disappointed that such a cute product turned out to be completely useless and even damaging to my lips. If you're looking for something that actually works, I'd suggest searching for something a bit pricier, but with a more noticeable effect. For me, I'm stuck with a few of these balms and have had to repurpose them for nail care and cuticle treatment - at least it won't go to waste.
While this balm may look and smell nice, its lack of effectiveness and potential harm to your lips make it a product to avoid. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a reliable lip moisturizer.

live_helpFeatured FAQ

Is this balm good for dry lips?

It works okay for mild dryness, but it doesn't do much for super dry lips. If you've got extremely dry lips, you might want to look for a different product.

Is the packaging leak-proof?

Unfortunately, no. I've had it leak in my purse a few times, which is a real pain.

Is the balm easy to apply?

Yeah, it's super easy to apply. The consistency is comfy and not sticky, making it a pleasure to use.

Is the scent pleasant?

Yeah, the yogurt-blueberry scent is really pleasant and appealing. It's one of the things I like about this balm.

Is the balm good value for money?

It depends on the price. When it's on sale for 80 rubles, it's a good value, but at the full price of 190 rubles, it's not worth it.

Does the balm have any harsh chemicals?

No, it doesn't have that awful chemical aftertaste like cheaper balms do. However, I'm not sure if the ingredients are eco-friendly.

How long does the battery last?

Unfortunately, the battery life is shorter than expected. I've had to recharge it a few times a day.

Is the balm easy to use?

Yeah, it's super easy to use. The instructions are a bit unclear, but once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze.

Can I return it if I don't like it?

I'm not sure about the return policy, but you might want to check with the seller.

Budget Primer Dupes Fall Short of the Originals

The Milk primer is a solid choice, but it's not worth the splurge for me. Here's why I think the budget dupes from Catrice, Essence, and others are better alternatives.
