My Go-To Solution for Cold Sores: Zovirax Works Like a Charm

summarizeEditor's Summary

As a fitness enthusiast who's always on the go, I've found myself prone to catching colds. This summer's unpredictable weather in Moscow was a perfect storm for getting sick. I picked up a cold in crowded areas like the metro and train station, and it was a total letdown. But Zovirax has been a game changer for me. It's fast-acting, long-lasting, and easy to apply. I've been using it for a week now, and I'm really impressed with the build quality and value for money. The cream lasts a long time on my lips, and the packaging is compact and convenient. It's not perfect, but it's definitely worth trying if you're tired of dealing with cold sores.

Hello everyone!
I'm Olga, a seasoned pensioner and a fitness enthusiast who's always on the go.
This summer in Moscow and the Moscow region was a real rollercoaster of weather - unpredictable, to say the least. We had rare sunny days, heavy rains, thunderstorms, lightning, and thunder. The cold nights became a regular occurrence, not just in August and September, but also in July. It was chilly, damp, rainy, and sunny - a true autumn.
I had to come to Moscow for a couple of days, and I ended up in crowded areas like the metro, train station, and ticket counters.
And guess what? I returned to my dacha not alone but with a cold I picked up somewhere.
We all catch colds, get sick, and infect ourselves and those around us.
Our bodies react differently to the initial symptoms of a cold. Some people's noses start to run, while others experience a sore throat, chills, and so on.
For me, the first sign is when the inside of my lower lip on the right side starts to tingle. As soon as it starts to tingle, I know I'm in for a nasty case of herpes.
So, what is herpes?
Herpes is a cold sore that quickly develops, settles in, and stubbornly refuses to leave, leaving a noticeable mark behind.
By the time I realized I had herpes, it was already too late. A large, round lesion had formed on the lower lip on the right side, covered in a hard crust with yellowish discharge oozing out from underneath. This whole setup is firmly attached to my lip, stings, itches, and hurts. I have to be careful not to touch it, moisten it, or get it wet. Talking is a challenge, and smiling is almost impossible.
This thing is unpleasant, unattractive, and extremely painful.
I've learned to catch herpes in its early stages and prevent it from breaking out. As soon as I feel that tingling sensation on my lip, I grab my Zovirax cream and apply it liberally to the affected area from the outside. Within a short time, the discomfort subsides, the redness fades, and the herpes outbreak calms down. To be on the safe side, I continue treatment for a few days to make sure the virus is fully eradicated.
The best part is that I rarely get a cold after using Zovirax, and when I do, it's usually mild.
My experience before discovering Zovirax.
Before I stumbled upon Zovirax, I would get herpes about twice a year, usually during the fall and winter months, and I just couldn't seem to get rid of it, no matter what I tried – including some home remedies.
One day, I walked into a pharmacy with a nasty cold sore on my lip and asked the pharmacist for advice on how to get rid of it.
The pharmacist was incredibly helpful and explained to me what herpes is and recommended Zovirax.
I was skeptical at first, but I decided to give it a shot and bought Zovirax on the spot. I applied it to my lip as soon as I left the pharmacy.
I was amazed when, after just a few days of treatment, the herpes outbreak disappeared completely, leaving my lip smooth and clear. The redness and swelling vanished, and I was left with no signs of the cold sore.
It was like magic!
Check out the packaging and the information from the manufacturer.
I was surprised by how small the tube is - just 5 grams, but it's got a long shelf life and will last you a while.
The Zovirax cream is made in the UK.
The box has all the info: the ingredients, what it's for, how to use it, how to store it, and the expiration date, plus a warning.
The tube itself has the same details.
And, of course, there's a very detailed patient leaflet with instructions.
What happened next?
It's been 2-3 years since I last had a herpes outbreak, but this time it came back to haunt me - in the same old spot. But no worries: I've got my trusty Zovirax cream in the fridge.
Friends, don't wait for herpes to strike - use Zovirax at the first sign of symptoms.
I hope you find my experience helpful.
Stay healthy and successful!
