A Real Review of Yumanee: The Good, the Bad, and the Cashback

I stumbled upon Yumanee through some rules from Airera, and now I'm using it to cash out from multiple sources, including paid survey websites. I'm really impressed with the app overall.

Getting to Know Yumanee

The app is super easy to use, with a clean and straightforward interface. On the main page, you'll see a history of your transactions, including deposits and withdrawals. You can customize the main screen to show the points that matter most to you. I set up cashback for checks, transfers, and mobile payments, and it's been a total game-changer.

You can also track where the money was transferred. By the way, you can transfer money not just to cards or phones – you can even pay bills or send money to friends.

You can also set up automatic payments on the main page, which is a lifesaver for forgetful people like me.

There's also a help button in case you encounter any issues with using the app.In the top part of the main screen, there's a display of your current balance on your Yumanee account.

Cashback with Yumanee

The cashback categories are pretty consistent from month to month, with a focus on groceries and everyday essentials. I've gotten cashback on several occasions after buying cheese, and it's always a nice surprise.

The program automatically checks if there's any promotional item on your receipt, but it's still manually reviewed for a few days. In the end, it takes around 4-5 days to verify the receipt. Once cashback is confirmed, you've got a few more days to transfer the money to your account. Cashback is paid in real money, which you can use just like your regular funds.

Cashback is small – usually around 5-10% or 15-20 rubles – but as a cashback enthusiast, I'm happy with that.

Withdrawing Money without Commission

It's super easy to withdraw money from Yumanee without commission. You just need to tap the 'transfers' button on the main screen.

Next, we tap on "by phone number". We choose the recipient or enter the phone number, and then select "to another bank through Sberbank." And here, we get to choose the bank. We tap on the "continue" button and enter the amount. We tap on the arrow next to the amount, and that's it! The system automatically calculates the commission, if there is one. The money arrives instantly, and you don't have to wait. That's a huge relief.

The Downsides of Yumanee

After a year of using it, I've found two downsides that are worth mentioning. They're minor, but significant for me personally.

I've noticed that when topping up my phone balance, I can't see the amount on my account. So, I have to remember how much money I've got and enter it manually – that's really inconvenient! In contrast, when transferring funds to a card, the full amount is visible and can be easily entered.Another thing that's not ideal is that there's a commission when paying utility bills. And it's not a small one, either. I thought I'd be clever and use my AirPay funds to pay my bills, but it turns out there's a commission involved. As someone who's not a fan of paying commissions, I have to transfer the funds to my card and then pay the bills from there.I don't think the daily withdrawal limit of 3,500 RUB without commission is a major issue, though. We're not exactly frugal people, so we can afford to withdraw funds over several days if needed.Despite the drawbacks, I really like this app. It's simple, easy to use, and intuitive.
