I took advantage of a 'WORTH EVERY PENNY' promo code for my first order, which made me curious to see what all the fuss was about. The app is super user-friendly, and I didn't encounter any issues with the interface. The catalog is pretty extensive, and the search feature is a breeze to use. My daughter asked me to pick up some pancakes from a specific brand, but they were nowhere to be found in local stores. Guess what? They were available on Yandex Lavek, and at a great price too!
I put together a cart with some 'not-so-essential' items. To be honest, most of the products were already on sale, so I didn't even bother checking the original prices. I mean, who doesn't love a good deal, right?
The total came out to be around 900 rubles. I applied the promo code, and suddenly the price went up to 1480 rubles! It turned out that the discount was only applied to the original price, not the sale price. For instance, the funchoza that cost 109 rubles in the store was now 209 rubles. The marshmallows went from 43 rubles to 89 rubles, and the bread went from 40 rubles to 70 rubles. The avocado was 180 rubles, but it ended up being 250 rubles! I was expecting a real discount, but it seemed like they were just tacking on extra fees.
I ended up paying 740 rubles, which wasn't bad, I guess. But let's be real, there were no actual discounts of 50% or even 30%. I mean, I'm all for a good deal, but this wasn't it. I felt like I was being taken advantage of.
They delivered the order within 30 minutes, which was impressive. But here's the thing - they forgot to include one of the items in the order, which was listed in the receipt. I had to contact customer support, and they offered me a 10% discount on my next order or to deliver the missing item. I chose the latter.
They delivered the missing item, but my overall experience was already pretty meh. Now, I see that the delivery fee has gone up to 499 rubles, and they're charging 3000 rubles for free delivery. No way, I'll stick to other delivery services that offer real discounts and promo codes. I'd rather have a 5-10% discount than fake promises of 50% off. It's just not worth it.
I'm not impressed, to be honest. Unless they offer me some personalized deals with free delivery or essential items at reasonable prices, I won't be ordering from them again. I need to feel like I'm getting a good value for my money.
Kudos to the couriers, though - they did a great job! They were friendly and efficient, which is more than I can say for the company itself.
