No branded packaging, just a regular box. I was happy to take it as is, as long as it arrived undamaged. The lantern itself comes with nothing. I think it would've been nice to include a small LED candle, but that's just me. A real candle would be a fire hazard, and the glass would get hot. With the option to buy LED candles that look and flicker like real ones, I think the need for actual candles has diminished. I ordered these KROB LED candles on batteries for my lantern:
