I've got a printer and scanner on it, and it can hold a decent amount of weight - I'd say around 20-25 kg. I've also used it as a workspace with a laptop and some other gear, and it's held up just fine.The only downsides are that you need to distribute the weight evenly and avoid putting too much pressure on the corners. It won't collapse, but it will sag a bit under heavy loads.
