This 3-star gem in the heart of Venice is a total steal - you get cozy rooms and a fantastic value for money. I mean, where else can you stay in the thick of things without breaking the bank? The Rialto House is a solid choice for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Venice, and I'd definitely stay here again.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Venice

summarizeEditor's Summary

We booked this hotel in advance to experience the authentic charm of Venice, and it didn't disappoint. The prime location offered breathtaking views of the Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal, but we opted for a more budget-friendly guest house owned by the hotel. This separate building was a great option for us, saving us some cash without sacrificing character. We loved the location, the staff, and the hotel's commitment to sustainability.

We booked this hotel well in advance, eager to experience the authentic charm of Venice. Its prime location, right in the heart of the city, offered breathtaking views of the historic Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal.
While we stayed in a guest house owned by the hotel, the reception, payment, and check-in process all took place at the Rialto hotel. This separate, more budget-friendly building was a great option for us, and it ended up saving us some cash.
We could've splurged on a room with a view of the bridge and canal for an extra 250 euros per night, but we were happy with our original choice, which still offered plenty of character.
As soon as we entered our room, number 501, we were struck by its spaciousness and coziness. The three windows looked out onto the courtyard, but we didn't mind – we were too busy taking in the unique decor and admiring the old furniture.
The room had a soft, fabric wallpaper that added to the vintage vibe, and there was even something soft between the wall and the wallpaper – probably for insulation.
The bed was huge and super comfy, and the bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. We loved the old-world charm of this place – it was like stepping back in time, and we felt right at home.
This hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but you can buy it separately if you want. We didn't bother getting breakfast, but the location was perfect – just a 3-minute walk from the main bridge and the Vaporetto station.
This place is a great value for money if you want to be in the center without breaking the bank. We even found a little restaurant nearby and grabbed lunch before heading out to explore the city on a gondola ride.
