We spent New Year's Eve in Turkey a few years ago in Belek. It was an amazing experience, and we really enjoyed it.
We decided to go back to Turkey this year, but we wanted to keep things simple. We didn't want to overcomplicate things, so we booked a 5-star hotel in Antalya.
I wanted to relax, recharge, and just unwind - do nothing, take care of myself, and have everything taken care of for us.
My husband chose the Titanic Mardan Palace, which is located in Kunde (Antalya) on Lara Beach, right next to a river. The prices in this hotel are very high in the summer, but lower in the winter.
My husband booked and paid for everything himself, without going through an agency. The room cost around 25,000 rubles per night, and everything was included.
We went for a few days to celebrate the Horse Year 2026. We flew through Moscow, which was a bit of a hassle, but it was worth it in the end.
The hotel is located right on the Mediterranean coast, on the Turkish Riviera. The grounds are huge and well-maintained, with plenty of relaxation areas.
We spent our winter days playing mini golf, ping pong, and table football. The beach bar was open, and we enjoyed a nice cup of Turkish apple tea.
The beach is amazing, with plenty of sunbeds and towels. Some people even swam in December - the water's really cold, and the waves are strong.
The food in the restaurants is varied and delicious. We had everything we needed for a royal vacation.
The spa, animation, pool, cinema, bowling, tennis, football, and arcade games are all available. We even had an indoor pool with heating.
We upgraded to a room with a view of the mountains, sea, and river, and even got a little patch of the outdoor heated pool on the balcony. The room itself was stunning, with an eastern-inspired design.
The bathtub was a real treat - I felt like royalty when I used it. The toiletries were from a high-end brand, like L'Occitane.
We had a TV, safe, slippers, robes, a balcony, a table and chairs, and more. I felt like a queen.
The beach wasn't huge, but it was well-designed. The sea was stunning, and we had palm trees everywhere.
There were plenty of pools to choose from. We even had an indoor pool with heating. There was a sauna, hammam, and massages available for an extra fee.
The lobby was fit for a king - or queen, in my case. There were Christmas trees, bars, and candy shops. Every evening, there was live music.
We had plenty of comfy couches to lounge on. Food at the hotel is exquisite and tastes amazing. They have everything.
Since we flew during the day and business class, we weren't too tired. We arrived, checked in, took a stroll by the sea, and then went for dinner.
After dinner, we went to the pool - just to take a look and then just to explore the hotel. In the evening, there was a disco. We booked a table for New Year's Eve on December 31.
The hotel looks beautiful in the evening with all the lights on. The weather was cool, so I had to wear a jacket. There was a cold wind. The room was warm, but in the hotel, it was chilly in some areas.
Our stay was simple, but amazing. The hotel's decor is expensive and lavish - the crystal staircase is like something you'd find in the Topkapi Palace, there are plenty of columns, gold, and intricate designs. The red carpet is a nice touch. The service is top-notch, with everyone smiling and eager to please.
The main restaurant is stunning. There's a wide variety of dishes to choose from. As a vegetarian, I was in heaven. There was plenty of fresh strawberries, ripe grapes, and delicious pastries.
For breakfast, I had yogurt with fresh raspberries, a piece of cheese, some freshly picked strawberries, a slice of sesame seed halva, a glass of juice made from red apples and beets, some bergamot and watermelon jam, and Turkish tea. That's just one of the breakfast options.
We didn't do much - we just slept, ate, and enjoyed the sea and our vacation. At a hotel of this level, it's easy to do just that.
New Year's Eve celebration started at 4 pm and went on until late at night and beyond. The grand hall was huge, there was a concert, delicious food, fireworks, and a disco. It was simply incredible!
New Year's Eve was like a concert. The huge venue and tons of guests made it feel like a real party. And the food? Let's just say we ate our weight in it.
Fireworks, live music, snow, and a ton of performers made it a night to remember.
Happy New Year 2026, everyone!
