I've been a magazine junkie for years, and I've always been drawn to Vogue. But my latest issue was a huge letdown.
As a loyal subscriber to Cosmopolitan and Glamour, I was expecting a treasure trove of fashion inspiration from Vogue. But what I got was a whole lot of nothing. No product reviews, no beautiful images, just one ad after another and some pretty cringeworthy moments.

Keep flipping. And then, besides all that ad space, there are these weird images. I just didn't get them - they didn't resonate with me at all. And to make matters worse, I don't even understand what kind of art this is:

Vogue MagazineFlannel shirts were a staple in the '90s - and people actually looked pretty cool in them. But what about this bodysuit with a diving-helmet neckline, a skin-tight leather skirt, and white sneakers? Is that stylish?

The main trend for the upcoming season is curly, unwashed hair, washed without conditioner...
I mean, who thought this was a good idea? Porous, unwashed hair is the new black, apparently.
Vogue MagazineAnd have you seen the state of tights this season? They want you to wear ones with different patterns on each leg. Like, one leg in a circle and the other in a square. Or, you know, just different colors. I mean, who's normal enough to wear this stuff? High fashion, I guess. I just don't get it.
Vogue MagazineI was trying to read an article on cosmetic fasting, but it was super short and written in a way that's just not engaging. Plus, it's all confusing and unclear. Not exactly what I'm looking for in a magazine.

There were a few articles in the magazine, but they were pretty unimpressive. Mostly just ads.
I have to say, I was really disappointed with the magazine overall.
I won't be buying this magazine again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
