Mobby Microfiber Mop with Squeeze Mechanism and Bucket

I've tried a bunch of mops, but this Mobby microfiber mop is hands down the best for deep cleaning. The squeeze mechanism and big bucket combo make quick work of dirt and dust, leaving your floors spotless and streak-free. The microfiber head picks up dirt like a pro, and the bucket holds a ton of water, so you can clean without stopping to refill. It's perfect for daily or weekly cleaning tasks, and the durable design ensures it will withstand heavy use. I've been using it for a while now, and it's still going strong.

My Smart Mop with a Bucket: A Mixed Bag of Good and Bad

summarizeEditor's Summary

I recently bought my first smart mop with a bucket, and it's been a wild ride. The compact design and easy-to-use interface are definite pluses, but the flimsy handle and poor battery life are major turn-offs. The bucket is lightweight and easy to maneuver, but it's not as durable as I'd like. The microfiber head does a great job of picking up dirt and dust, but it starts to fall apart after a few uses. I've been using it for a week now, and I'm still figuring out the best way to get the most out of it. It's a decent product, but not without its flaws.

Hello everyone!
I recently bought my first smart mop with a bucket, and I have to say, it was a bit of a rollercoaster ride. If I'd written this review right away, it would've been way more enthusiastic and higher rated. But now that I've used it and parted ways with it in anger, I can give you a more accurate assessment.

Unpacking and Assembly
I ordered this from Valdberries, and the mop arrived unassembled in a cardboard box. The box had clear instructions on how to assemble the set and what's included. I was a bit surprised to find that the assembly process was pretty straightforward, and I was able to put it together without much hassle.
BIG bundle, compactly packed in a box.
Along with the box, they included an instruction manual, but I have to say, it was pretty obvious how to put it together without one.My Experience
I really liked that the set came with a bucket, mop, and cleaning cloths. It was easy to assemble and use right away. The bucket is made of two sections, which I thought was a great idea - it's so much easier to maneuver!
In its assembled state, it looks nice and takes up little space. It fits perfectly in the corner of my bathroom without cluttering the room. I was really glad they went with square buckets - it's so much easier to maneuver!8 liters is a good size for cleaning my place - not too big, not too small. The bucket is fully plastic and has two sections inside. The bucket has a valve in one of the sections, but I'm not really sure what the point of it is. For one thing, I'm worried it'll deform over time and start leaking. Two, it's a pain to open and close. And three, the valve is placed above the bottom of the bucket, so all the dirty water just stays there and you have to open the lid to drain it anyway. What's the point of the valve, then? I'm still trying to figure out the valve thing - it feels like an extra part 😂
But the lid isn't as straightforward as it seems. To open it, you need to loosen the little clips on the sides. In my first use, I managed to break a nail on one of them - it was super painful. And then every time I had to carefully pry the lid open, which was already making me anxious about using it.
The mop head is detachable. I was worried it would fall apart when I needed it to, but it actually performed well. The tube is nice and big, and it holds its shape pretty well. I only had to adjust it a few times, but overall it didn't fall apart on me. Although, at the end of its life, my kid managed to bend it while trying to get a toy from under the bedThe mop head has a plastic ring on the end, which you can use to hang it up. The length is great, and it fits my tall frame perfectly.
The mop handle is made of plastic. It has short buttons on the ends, which the cloth gets caught on, and two plastic strips in the middle. This design works pretty well, with the cloth held in place by the buttons and the strip in the middle.
The mop head comes with two microfiber cloths with long handles. They're great - they clean the floor well, and they're easy to wash. I'll remind you, the bucket is made of two sections. You only fill one section with water, and I always add some floor cleaning solution. The mop head dips into the water through one hole, and then it's wrung out through another. This leaves the cloth partially dry, which is enough to clean the floor without leaving any streaks. The mop head's design and size make it easy to get into tight spots and pick up dirt effectively.
At first, the microfiber cloth was fine, but with each use, the thin pockets on the scrubber started to fray, and the clips would catch on the edge of the bucket lid. It was super annoying to have to carefully line up the hole every time, and even then, the scrubber would often get stuck and start to bunch up. That meant I'd have to get my hands dirty to retrieve it, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a scrubber in the first place.
One time, I pulled on the scrubber a bit too hard, and one of the clips snapped off. That was the final straw – I was done with it. My daughter ended up bending the handle a bit more, and that was it for me. I tossed the whole thing in the trash. The Verdict
This scrubber had its good points – it was a decent price, did a good job cleaning the floor, and squeezed out the microfiber cloth nicely. But the hassle of opening the bucket lid and dealing with the stuck scrubber was a major pain. In my next scrubber, from a different brand, these issues were resolved. But that's a whole different review...
