My New Breakfast Obsession: A Belarusian Meat Spread That's a Game-Changer

I recently stumbled upon a Belarusian meat and truffle spread that's taken my breakfast game to the next level. The taste is pure, unadulterated meat and truffle - no kidding!

I picked this spread up at the Perekrestok supermarket, where they sell cheeses and oils, as well as this spread. The price was a pleasant surprise - 190 rubles. At the time, the same brand was selling for 310 rubles per unit - that's a significant discount!

Take a look at the beautiful plastic box with the Namazka label.

Inside, you'll find a dense pâté or rillette made from pork meat with added truffle - the real deal!

Something I always look for in products is truffle - I just can't get enough of that earthy flavor!

The ingredients are listed on the back of the packaging - always a good idea to check what you're getting.

Pork meat, vegetable oil, drinking water, food additives to enhance flavor and aroma (E621), dextrose, salt, corn syrup, spices and their extracts: black pepper, nutmeg, flavorings, dried skimmed milk (ground truffle), antioxidant (E301), food additives (stabilizer E1450, egg yolk, thickener E417, E415), dried skimmed milk, potato starch, food additives for meat products with iodine (salt; color fixative E250, potassium iodate), food additives (dextrose, salt, flavor enhancer E621, plant hydrolysate, flavorings, maltodextrin, smoke flavoring), food additives (preservative E262, salt, food additives (antioxidants E300, E301, E306; food salt, stabilizer E472c), food mixture (pig hemoglobin, dextrose, glucose).

I have to admit, the ingredients list does contain a lot of additives and flavor enhancers, which might not be to everyone's taste. I do allow myself to eat such products occasionally, but I try to keep them to a minimum.

The spread itself is dense and perfect for a satisfying breakfast - it's like a party in your mouth!

The flavor is definitely for those who enjoy strong meat tastes - it's like a meat lover's dream come true!

I'd recommend this spread to anyone who loves pâtés, rillettes, and meat products in general - it's a great way to experience Belarusian cuisine and try something new.
