Cedarwood Nourishing Shampoo by Postmark Cedar

This cedarwood shampoo is a total game-changer for dry or damaged hair. It's packed with nutrients that leave your locks feeling ridiculously soft and silky. I've been using it for a while now, and I'm completely hooked - it's the perfect solution for anyone dealing with frizzy, brittle, or over-processed hair. The formula is gentle, yet effective, and it's become a staple in my hair care routine.

Russian Post Brand Leaves Me Feeling Disappointed

summarizeEditor's Summary

I recently tried a product from Russian Post's brand and was left feeling underwhelmed. The shampoo smelled like a cheap 90s product, not the cedar scent I was expecting. The packaging was clean, but the liquid consistency and overpowering aroma were major turn-offs. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the experience, but one thing's for sure - it's not worth the money. To be honest, I was expecting a lot more from a brand like Russian Post.

Russian Post Brand Leaves Me Feeling Disappointed
I recently had the misfortune of trying a product from Russian Post's brand, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the experience.
It all started when I stopped by the post office to pick up a parcel I had been waiting for. I had already run some errands and was freezing my tail off, so I was looking forward to getting home and warming up.
As I was waiting in line, I spotted a mysterious bottle on the counter and asked the operator if it smelled like anything. Her response was less than reassuring - she simply shrugged and told me to buy it and sniff it all I want.
I was taken aback by her response and decided to pay for the product without even checking the expiration date. I figured that if it was a legitimate product, it would be fine.
When I got home, I opened the shampoo to sniff and was immediately disappointed by the scent. It smelled like a cheap shampoo from the 90s, not like cedar at all. I was expecting a nice, refreshing scent, but what I got was something that made me wrinkle my nose in distaste.
The packaging was clean and simple, which was a plus. However, the cap was the only thing that really stood out to me. It was well-designed and easy to use, which is more than I can say for the product itself.
The shampoo itself is a transparent caramel color and is liquidy. It's not the most appealing color, but it's not the worst either. However, the huge amount of product used is a major con. I mean, who needs that much shampoo? It's wasteful and unnecessary.
Another con is the scent, which is way too overpowering. During the shampooing process, it starts to get on my nerves. I like to enjoy my shower experience, but this shampoo made it feel like a chore.
On the bright side, the lather is great, and it cleans well without stripping my hair. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it performed in this regard. After drying my hair with a towel for 30 minutes, it was almost dry but not at all damaged. My hair looked great in the morning, not oily or weighed down, and there was no itchiness or dandruff.
Overall, I'd give the shampoo itself 4 out of 5 stars for the major pros. However, if I'm rating the whole situation with the customer service and the product expiring, I'd give it a big fat zero! I'd recommend it, but not for people with problem or over-manipulated hair. Fingers crossed your local post office will be decent, and you'll get a good product.
Rating Breakdown:
Pros: Great lather, cleans well without stripping hair, nice packagingCons: Overpowering scent, huge amount of product used, poor customer serviceRecommendation: If you're looking for a good shampoo, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. However, if you're in a pinch and need something quickly, this might be a decent option. Just be aware of the potential downsides.

live_helpFeatured FAQ

What's the deal with the liquid consistency?

Honestly, it's a bit weird. It's not too thin, but it's not thick either. It's just... there. And it's not exactly what I'd call 'normal' for a shampoo.

Is the smell really that bad?

Yeah, it's overpowering. I was expecting a nice, refreshing scent, but what I got was something that made me wrinkle my nose in distaste. It's not exactly what I'd call 'pleasant'.

Is it really not worth the money?

Honestly, no. I mean, it's not the worst product I've ever used, but it's not exactly worth the cash either. There are better options out there, if you ask me.

Can I return it?

I'm not sure, to be honest. I didn't exactly get a receipt or anything, so I'm not sure if it's returnable or not. Maybe check with the post office and see what they say?

What's the packaging like?

It's clean and simple, I'll give it that. But it's not exactly what I'd call 'exciting' or anything. It's just... there.

Is it good for my hair type?

Honestly, I'm not sure. I've got normal hair, I guess. It doesn't weigh it down or anything, so that's a plus. But it's not exactly what I'd call 'great' or anything either.

Can I use it every day?

I don't know, to be honest. I've been using it a few times a week, and it's been okay. But I'm not sure if it's good for daily use or not. Maybe try it out and see what happens?

Is it available online?

I'm not sure, to be honest. I got it from the post office, so I'm not sure if it's available online or not. Maybe check with the post office and see what they say?

Can I get a refund?

I'm not sure, to be honest. I didn't exactly get a receipt or anything, so I'm not sure if it's refundable or not. Maybe check with the post office and see what they say?

Is it suitable for sensitive scalps?

Honestly, I'm not sure. I've got a normal scalp, I guess. It doesn't irritate it or anything, so that's a plus. But it's not exactly what I'd call 'great' or anything either.
