Estrade Invisible Compact Powder Finish

I've tried a bunch of powder finishes, but this one from Estrade is my go-to for everyday use. It's super easy to apply and gives me a flawless finish that lasts all day. I've used it for a week now, and it's still going strong - no cakey buildup or fading.

My Go-To Setting Powder for a Flawless Finish

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've been using Estrade's Invisible poudre setting powder for a while now, and I gotta say, it's become my go-to setting powder for a flawless finish. The build quality is seriously impressive - the powder feels solid in the compact case, and the packaging design is super minimalist. I love how it sets my makeup without changing the color of my skin. It's also really easy to blend, and it doesn't cake up or accentuate fine lines. One thing I appreciate is that it's a universal shade that works well with my skin tone. I've tried it with different highlighters and eyeshadows, and it always looks great. The price is pretty reasonable, too - 350 rubles for 7 grams of powder is a good value for money. I've even bought it twice, and I'm really happy with this setting powder.

Hello there, lovely reader!
Last year, I was really into using transparent textures to set my makeup. Then I stumbled upon a brand I loved, Estrade, with a transparent setting powder called 'Invisible' poudre. Of course, I had to get my hands on it. I'd already tried their highlighter in #310 and their pearl eyeshadows in #202, and I was hooked, so I didn't hesitate to buy this powder - and I just picked up a second one.
Price: 350 rubles.
Weight: 7 g.
Where I bought it: I've bought it twice from SuperМаг, but this powder is widely available - I've seen it at Podruga, Zolotoe Yabloko, Ozon, Wildberries, and more.
Shade: #100.
The packaging is pretty straightforward, but I love the minimalist design of this brand. The front of the box has a red sticker that says it's a transparent powder - which is nice, since all the other info is in English.
The top plastic lid is transparent, so you can see the contents right away.
I've noticed a difference in the lid of my old powder compact - it opens easily, but the new one requires a bit more effort. Either the packaging has changed or the old lid has just gotten looser with time. Either way, the powder is still securely closed.
After a year, the outside of the compact has undergone a slight transformation. But overall, it's still the same.
The compact is pretty basic - no transparent saliva cup, no sponge, and no mirror. But that's fine by me. I apply powder at home with a brush, and I don't take the product with me, so I don't need any of those extras.
It's been over six months since my old powder compact started to crumble, but I've been using it just the same - I just store it on a shelf, rather than in a makeup case.
Over time, the lid has remained tightly attached to the base with the reofil, although the highlighter in the same packaging had a lid that came loose.
Texture, color, and scent
The Estrade powder has an incredibly fine texture, almost like talcum powder.
The color of it on the swatches is white, but on my face, it's completely transparent. You can't even notice it's there, it doesn't cake into fine lines, doesn't accentuate any nervousness, and doesn't leave my face looking too bright. So, it's completely unobtrusive. That's another reason I prefer a transparent powder over one with a tint.
When you stick your nose into the powder container, you can catch a whiff of the applicator's scent, but during use or when it's on, there's no noticeable aroma at all.
Formula
The main components of this powder are talc and aluminum starch octenylsuccinate.
I've listed the full formula below:
Talc, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, PTFE, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Phenyl Trimethicone, Calcium Aluminium Borosilicate, Methoxy PEG-17/Methoxy PEG-11/HDI Isocyanurate Trimer Crosspolymer, Polyurethane-44, Sodium Potassium Aluminium Silicate, Silica, CI 77891, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Parfume, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool.
Info from the manufacturer
No matter what happens during the day, you won't 'lose' your face because now you have an invisible makeup keeper.
This powder is a great option for all skin types and tones!
It sets my makeup perfectlyIt keeps my makeup in place all dayThe soft-focus effect really helps to even out my skin toneIt also helps to extend the wear of my makeup
Using it
I've bought the Estrade Invisible poudre-fini for the second time, so I'm definitely happy with it.
As you can see from the photo, I've barely used any of the product after a year of using it. I didn't feel the need to use any other powder during that time.
Now, let me break it down for you - what makes this powder so useful in my makeup routine?
Application
I apply the powder with the brush that comes with it, just like the manufacturer recommends. It's easy to pick up the right amount of product and apply it to my face. I can control the intensity to my liking, sometimes going for a light coverage and other times a more dense one. The amount of product I use also depends on the foundation I'm wearing - if it's on the drier side, I need a bit more powder to set it, and if it's on the oilier side, I can get away with just a tiny bit.
Finishing Touches
I'm really impressed with how well this powder sets my skin - especially when I apply a thick layer. What's more important to me is that it doesn't give me that flat, cakey look; instead, it gives my skin a natural, healthy finish, like I've just washed my face and dried it with a towel. I think the photo below will give you an idea of what I mean.
Skin Feel
The Estrade powder is completely undetectable on my skin - it's really invisible. You won't notice it in fine lines, you won't see any particles on dry patches, and it won't slide off or do anything weird. It's just there, doing its job, and I love that. And, as I mentioned earlier, it doesn't whiten my skin or make my dark foundation look lighter.
Long-Lasting Makeup
With this product, my foundation stays put all day - it doesn't budge or run (which is rare for me, anyway). My makeup looks great until the evening, and even then, my skin just looks a bit less matte, not shiny or oily.
One thing I've noticed is that I can easily touch up my face with this powder even in super hot weather or when I'm heading out again after a long day. I don't rely on any other setting products or blotting papers throughout the day, and my skin is combination, not dry.
Skin Impact
After using the Invisible powder for a while, I'm happy to report that I haven't noticed any negative effects on my skin. This is a big deal for me, as my pores tend to clog and cause inflammation.
Value for Money
One of the best ways to gauge the value of this product is to look at the before-and-after photos. As you can see, the powder lasts a ridiculously long time – I've used it for over a year and it still looks brand new. Considering its price, this is an absolute steal.
And here's a photo of the powder in a full face of makeup:
As you can see, my skin looks healthy and radiant, with no greasy shine.
I'm really impressed with the value for money on this product; It suits any skin tone; It's completely transparent and unnoticeable on my face;It sets my makeup; It extends the wear of my makeup; It gives my skin a natural matte finish; It's extremely economical to use;It doesn't clog my pores or cause any inflammation; It doesn't feel like it's on my face.
Downsides
There aren't any.
Summary
I'd definitely recommend this translucent setting powder from Estrade. My repeat purchase just confirms its amazing effectiveness. For me, it's a must-have in my makeup routine.
