We spent a week at the Rixos Premium Tekirova in late March to early April, and while it's not a true premium experience, it's still a great choice for an off-season break in Turkey. The hotel's stunning grounds and spotless facilities are definite pluses, but it falls short in a few areas.
First off, the scenery is breathtaking - mountains, pine trees, flowers, manicured lawns, everything's in bloom and smells amazing! The facilities are top-notch, with a bustling staff always tidying up and whatnot. There's plenty of space to explore, and the area at the end of the beach near the rocks is gorgeous, with crystal-clear water and loads of fish and jellyfish to spot.
We were lucky with the weather, it was a full-on summer with sunny days and temps hitting +25-30°C. The heated pool was a major plus, and we enjoyed it up until 5 pm when the DJ started spinning tunes and the atmosphere got lively. However, the kid's water park was a letdown - no heated water, which was a bummer for me (I had to bail out of the park because my leg locked up from the cold!).
We had a blast playing table tennis, billiards, and archery, and even caught some evening shows. The animation team is active but not intrusive, so you can always find something to do if you want to. The evening shows are top-notch, too.
Overall, I'd say the Rixos Premium Tekirova is a solid choice, but it's not a game-changer. If you're looking for a great off-season break in Turkey, it's worth considering, but don't expect a true premium experience.
Now, let's take a look at some visuals. I've got a bunch of images here that showcase the hotel's design and features. The camera quality is seriously impressive - check out these shots!
