As you drive through the village of Kimitlei in Ziminsky district, you'll see a sign pointing to the Kimitlei Church. Honestly, I haven't made it there yet, but I've heard it's stunning after the reconstruction and famous for its wonders.
Make a photo stop at the village of Malta in Usolsky district. The scenery is basically begging to be captured on camera, especially with the ridiculously yellow fields or climbing up a haystack.

Let's be real, if you're used to staying in hotels like Accor or Hilton, you might want to lower your expectations and just enjoy the scenery.If you've chosen Tuluun as your stop, you'll see a billboard for the Central Hotel at Lenin Street, 122, as you enter the city.
I've actually stayed in this hotel before. Be warned, the rooms are pretty cramped - some have shared bathrooms and don't expect a free breakfast. You can grab some coffee, chocolate, or instant noodles from the receptionist on your floor, but that's about it.
Important note to travelers: this hotel is located on the second floor of a five-story building, and the stairs are no joke! I booked through Booking.com and didn't even notice this detail, but I was traveling solo - if you're in a wheelchair, you might want to think twice.
I highly recommend the pelmeni at the cafe in Telya.
This cafe always serves the best pelmeni - it's super cozy, and there's always a lot of traffic. In fact, I often skip breakfast in Irkutsk just so I can stop here.

I'm dead serious when I say it's not like you can't fix the water issue! It's just not on for a company of your caliber to suggest customers go traipsing around the streets to find a decent place to fill up! I'm not even going to post pics of the street toilets for ethical reasons... and I'm not even going to mention the smell.
7. Roads are getting better with each passing year, and while there are some repairs needed, they're relatively few and far between, especially during the summer months.
