I'm a sucker for gift-giving, and there's something special about seeing the joy on someone's face when they open a present. It's a feeling that warms my heart. To make gift-giving even more enjoyable, I picked up some adorable mini-cards before the holidays. I chose a set with charming bunnies and heartfelt messages from the 'World of Cards' brand.
The set of 40 cards costs just 110 rubles. I made the purchase from WB.
The cards have a mini-format, but unfortunately, the staff at WB managed to ruin the aesthetic. They slapped these labels right onto the plastic packaging from both sides. I could've put them in a different package with stickers and left this one plain. Oh well, at least it's not directly on the cards, right? There's a thin strip for easy opening. Pull it, and the plastic splits into two parts.
First, you get the info insert (manufacturer: Russia, Moscow). And even that has a cute illustration. These adorable bunny couples, soft rose petals in the corners... I'm smiling just looking at them! And the cards themselves? They're just too cute. You barely notice yourself smiling while examining them.
As promised, there are 40 cards, with 2 of each design. That means 20 unique ones. The paired cards are identical. The style of all the cards is the same, but the execution and characters are different. The background is a soft pink, magenta, and white.
The back of the cards is white and clean. One of the best things about these cards is that you can customize them yourself. You can even poke a hole in them with a paper piercer or a needle. Why? Well, they make for a great decoration. I hung them on a thin string or ribbon, and they added a lovely touch to my living room.
You can also use mini clips to attach them. If you choose the ones with New Year's illustrations, they'll look amazing on your Christmas tree. And let's be honest, the rabbit designs are adorable on the tree too!
I've been experimenting with leaving sweet notes for my partner on the fridge using magnets. They look great with the larger magnets in the shape of giant pastries, but the phrase gets cut off. On the other hand, the smaller magnets showcase the whole card perfectly.
