A Cautionary Tale: My Nightmare Experience with kupikod

I tried out a ChatGPT subscription through kupikod, but it turned out to be a total disaster. Since I'm based in the CIS region, I couldn't buy directly from their website. I looked for alternative ways and stumbled upon kupikod, which was actually promoted by a YouTuber I follow. However, I didn't notice they'd stopped promoting it, and for good reason. And to make matters worse, I didn't bother reading reviews online about the service.

My first purchase was on October 20, 2025, at 05:40:07. According to their website, activation happens between 10:00 AM and 11:00 PM MSK. I thought they were a big company, so I assumed they'd activate it during the day. But they cancelled the order in the middle of the day, citing that I'd entered the wrong code, although I'd followed the instructions to the letter. Okay, no big deal, I reordered and also sent a support request about it, pointing out that everything was correct. But I never heard back from support.

My second order was placed on October 20, 2025, at 16:49:54, and it just hung there in processing all day. The next day, they cancelled it again, this time saying that my login details weren't valid. Although I'd copied them correctly from my browser, just to make sure I didn't mess up. I was getting pretty fed up, so I sent another support request, telling them to either refund my money to my card or leave a review and file a lawsuit. I mean, come on.

I gave them one last chance and placed a third order on October 21, 2025, at 00:51:46. When I placed the order, I recorded a video showing me copying the correct details and entering them on their website. I sent this to support, just in case they were reading my messages but not responding. And guess what? They cancelled the order again, this time saying that I already had an active subscription and couldn't buy another one. I'd never signed up for a subscription anywhere else, so I was confused.

It's clear they didn't care about helping me or their customers. I'm not afraid to file a lawsuit against their website, and it's not even a problem that their company isn't registered in the CIS. We can still take action against them, like getting them blocked by Roskomnadzor so others don't get scammed.

By the way, as of the three orders I made, support had never responded to any of my messages. Zero response. Zilch.
