Izmaylovo Vega Hotel, 4*, Moscow, Russia
The Worst Hotel Experience of Our Lives
summarizeEditor's Summary
We were really looking forward to our stay at the Izmailovo's Vega hotel, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst hotel experience of our lives. We booked a room with a kitchenette, thinking it would be a great way to save money and cook some meals for our kid. But the reality was far from what we expected. The lobby was straight out of a 90s casino, and the receptionist seemed overwhelmed when we arrived. We had to wait for a while to check in, which was already a bad sign. The hotel had sent us a survey before our arrival, asking about our preferences, including our preferred floor and shower or bathtub. We thought that was a nice touch, but it turned out to be a total waste of time. The room itself was small, and the furniture was worn out and looked like it had been there since the 90s. The bed was super uncomfortable, and the air conditioning was broken, so we had to suffer through the heat. To top it all off, the breakfast was seriously bad - we ended up eating out every day. We were really disappointed with our stay, and we wouldn't recommend the Izmailovo's Vega hotel to anyone.
