A Fresh Take on the Classic: GTA on Mobile

I recently revisited this iconic game, and to ensure I could play it anywhere, I downloaded the mobile version. I'd known about it for ages, but never had the motivation to dive in.

Compared to previous GTA games, the 3D universe has expanded exponentially. With new possibilities comes a more engaging experience. The game boasts a wealth of new features, including fashion stores, racing, and car customization – with some cars even having their own repair shops. You'll find plenty of side missions to keep you occupied, and a vast array of cars, some of which are entirely new to the series.

CJ, the game's protagonist, has finally mastered swimming. Players now have the ability to improve their character's skills, manage their personal life, and handle finances. The financial aspect is particularly interesting, as CJ can now earn money through various means – acting as a thief, police officer, courier, and more. With increased earning potential comes the ability to waste money, too. You can invest in properties, which allows you to save your progress at a more convenient location. Buying exclusive number plates for your cars requires some effort, but it's worth it.

Health can be replenished at various cafes and drink vending machines, making it convenient during missions. The game also features collectibles, with different types available in each city – graffiti, photos, and car parts. Once you've collected all items of a specific type, you'll receive a reward in the form of unique guns at designated save points.

The storyline is significantly longer and more diverse than previous parts. Completing the story in previous games would take no more than a week, even at a leisurely pace. However, this game requires much more time and effort, with each mission unique and engaging. Some of the most challenging missions are the driving school and flight school levels. The ending left me speechless – even the most hated characters are given a depth that makes you empathize with them.

One of the most interesting aspects of the game is the references to previous parts – familiar characters reappear, and events from past games are mentioned. The voice acting adds to the atmosphere, and the lack of complete localization might even be a plus. I still find myself exploring the world after completing the game, as there's still so much to do.

Overall, I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fresh take on the classic GTA experience.
