Garnier Color Naturals Creme Super Lightening Cream Hair Color

I've tried at-home hair dyes before, but Garnier's Color Naturals Creme Super Lightening Cream Hair Color really delivers. This stuff is easy to use and gives salon-quality results. The formula's got nourishing ingredients to moisturize and protect your hair while you color - a total win in my book. It's perfect for those looking for a gentle, yet effective hair color solution. I've used it for a week and the results are stunning. My hair feels soft and looks vibrant. I'm really impressed with how easy it was to get the color right, too - no fuss, no muss.

I've been using hair bleach for years, but it's been a real letdown lately. My hair just wasn't looking as great as it used to, and I was starting to feel like I was just covering up the problem with a quick fix.
After doing some research, I realized that I wanted to ditch the bleached look and go for a more natural tone – maybe a warm, honey blonde or a rich, wheat blonde.
But I was skeptical at first. I thought to myself, 'My hair is way too dark for this to work.' I mean, I'd seen some examples online where people had used special blonde dyes on their dark hair, but I just didn't think it would work for me.
So, I decided to take a more cautious approach. I didn't want to shell out the cash for a pro-grade dye just to see if it would work, so I opted for a more budget-friendly option – the Garnier Color Naturals Creme Superlightening Crème Hair Color in 111 Superlightening Platinum Blonde from the local store.

Garnier Color Naturals Creme Superlightening Cream Hair ColorGarnier Color Naturals Creme Superlightening Cream Hair ColorI picked up this Garnier Color Naturals Creme Superlightening Cream Hair Color at an Okay store for 188 rubles. Since it's a DIY hair color kit, the set comes with the colorant, developer, balm, and gloves, plus instructions. It's not like a professional hair color product, where you'd need to buy each component separately.
Garnier Color Naturals Creme Superlightening Cream Hair DyeI've been using hair dye for my roots every four weeks, so my hair had grown about an inch since the last time I used a powder bleach.
That's what I started withI decided to use the whole tube of dye for my roots, just in case it wouldn't be enough, and to make sure I got good coverage.
My roots had grown about an inchThe tube is a soft plastic, and the dye is easy to squeeze out until the last drop. I added some developer and mixed it up with a special tool I have for mixing hair dye - it made the process a lot faster. It doesn't mix super well, but that's not a big deal for me.
Garnier Color Naturals Creme Superlightening Cream Hair Dye
Oxidizing Hair DyeWhen I mixed the stuff, I got a thick, creamy paste that's easy to apply and doesn't run all over my head. It's got a bit of a smell, but it's not overpowering - the perfume in the mix kinda masks it.
The Ready-to-Use MixI'm pretty experienced with DIY hair dye, so I split my hair into four sections to make it easier to apply. You're supposed to apply this stuff to dirty hair, as the grease acts as a natural barrier - but even so, it started to burn my scalp, and I ended up with red patches on my forehead and scalp.
Right After I Applied ItI applied the dye strictly to the part of my hair that was growing out, and one pack was enough to cover my roots generously. When I used to do this with powder, I'd never get it all over my hair, but I saw a trick from a hairdresser I was watching work with a special bleach.
To get better results, you can try wearing a plastic cap and letting the heat from your head help the lightening process along.
An hour laterI left the color on my head for 1 hour and 20 minutes, which is apparently okay for special bleach jobs. I checked the roots periodically and saw that they were starting to lighten up. I rinsed out the color with just warm water, no shampoo, and then applied the deep conditioning treatment from the kit.
Roots after lighteningI was curious to see how the roots would turn out. I was prepared for the worst – I thought they'd end up looking brassy. I even considered going back to the powder bleach if this didn't work out. But, I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the result.
Lengthwise, my hair feels coolerYeah, the roots do look more yellowish compared to the cooler length, but that's to be expected. Plus, when I rinsed out the color, it left a weird ash tone on the previously lightened length, making my hair super light – like Daenerys Targaryen's. But, I'm not worried, I know these kinds of tones will fade out with a few washes and my hair will go back to its usual warm tone.
Color result matched my expectationsI've noticed that with each lightening session, the color becomes warmer. The bleached section starts to blend in and lose that harsh contrast with the darker roots. Like everyone says, it takes a few months for the roots to grow out and the color to settle.
Before and afterI'm really happy with the color, even though my scalp got a bit irritated. The lightening process did wonders for my hair, making it softer and shinier than after using bleach powder, which always leaves my hair feeling dry and dull. Plus, it didn't tone my hair, which is a major advantage over bleach powder.
P.S. Note that the camera makes the roots look way yellower than they actually are. In reality, my hair has a warm, vanilla-like tone that matches the color on the box.
