I'm still on cloud nine after our family trip to Adygea, a stunning republic in southern Russia. We visited almost a year ago in the fall of 2024, and the memories are still fresh in my mind. Of course, it's mainly because of the thrilling cable car ride, which I wrote about in my review of the Savranskaya cable car! That experience is hard to forget.

But I was happy to stick with the cable car - no need to overexert myself!Devil's Finger is located on the ridge of the Ura-Koz mountain range, which stretches along the coast of the Belaya River from the village of Kamennomostskiy to the stanitsa of Dakhovskaya.

We decided to hike down to Dakhovskaya village on foot, passing up the cable car despite having tickets for both ways. We just gave them to other people who were waiting.

My husband and son, on the other hand, loved every minute of it and were happy to have had the opportunity to stretch their legs.
