Rancho Mojave Lip Gloss

I'm obsessed with my new go-to lip gloss - the Rancho Mojave Lip Gloss. This stuff is a total game-changer. Not only does it add a pop of color to my daily look, but it also keeps my lips moisturized all day long. I've tried a bunch of different shades, and I'm hooked from the first application. The formula is long-lasting, and I love that it comes in a bunch of different colors. Whether I'm running errands or just lounging around, this lip gloss is perfect for any occasion.

Why I'm Obsessed with Beauty Bomb's Lip Gloss - A Winter Lip Care Game-Changer!

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've been on the hunt for a lip balm that's both hydrating and easy to apply, and Beauty Bomb's Rancho Mojave Magic lip gloss is my latest obsession. This creamy balm texture is a total game-changer for dry, chapped lips - it's not sticky or greasy, and the even application makes it a must-have for winter lip care. Plus, the scent is subtle and pleasant, making it perfect for everyday use. I've tried a lot of lip glosses, but this one stands out for its value for money and ease of use. If you're struggling with dry, winter lips, give this a try!

Hello everyone!
Winter's here, and let's face it - my skin and lips are total disasters. As a lip balm and moisturizer junkie, I'm always on the lookout for products that deliver on comfort and hydration. Today, I want to share with you my latest discovery - the Rancho Mojave Magic lip gloss from Beauty Bomb.
Appearance
The packaging didn't exactly blow me away. I'm not picky about mass-market packaging, but Beauty Bomb's BEAUTY RANCHO collection feels a bit too childish for my taste - the patterns, the orange color, the slightly worn-off labels. It's all just a bit too much!
The applicator's a bit bigger than usual, but it's still pretty comfortable to use - a definite improvement over the applicator on that lip gloss I reviewed earlier.
Texture and scent
This lip gloss is actually more like a creamy balm - and I mean that in a good way. It's thick, but not sticky, and it applies evenly with a bit of effort. It doesn't feather or slide off.
It's similar to the Luxvisage mask-balm I've used in the past, but Beauty Bomb's version seems to work a bit better.
The scent's a bit acidic for my taste, but it's not overpowering.
Color
There are two shades in the collection, and I got the second one - Crocodile Tears. It was the only one available when I bought the lip gloss.
I'd call the 02 shade icy. It's a transparent base with a sprinkling of teeny shimmer that gives it a blue-ish sheen. And no, you won't end up looking like a corpse or someone with iron deficiency. It's just a cool undertone, nothing more.
Application and result
The most important factor for me in a winter lip gloss is good moisturizing. And here Rancho Mojave Magic delivers. I've included some before-and-after pics.
Brightens up any makeup look, from a natural everyday look to a nighttime vibe. It's super versatile.
On the lips, it looks like hydrated, slightly oily (in a good way) lips. It really comes alive in the sunlight.
Staying power
Like all glossy lip glosses, Rancho Mojave Magic from Beauty Bomb can't boast any records. It lasts for a couple of hours without eating or drinking. One plus is that the moisturizing effect stays on the lips, along with a subtle shine. I'm giving it a huge plus for its moisturizing properties.
One downside
I'd say the biggest con for me is the crazy high consumption rate. It might be due to the specific finish, which requires a lot more product to achieve a glossy, high-quality look. Or maybe I just love it too much and use it all the time. Either way, after just a couple of weeks, I'm already seeing the pan getting pretty bare.
The Verdict
For 249 rubles, which is what I paid for it at Magnit Cosmetics, it's a great value. It gives me the look of hydrated, healthy-looking lips - and that's exactly what Rancho Mojave Magic is all about. Yes, the consumption rate is high, yes, the visual effect isn't perfect, and I would've swapped out the scent if I could.
I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5. The effect on my lips is just too good.
Thanks for reading, everyone!
