My Korean Skincare Routine Just Got a Whole Lot Easier with Erborian's CC and BB Creams

I've been stuck in a Korean skincare rut for a while now, relying on the same old brands like Holika Holika and Missha. The 'baby' cream comes in three different tones – two light ones and one darker one:

Here's a comparison of all three shades.

I was surprised to find that I liked the Nude shade the most. Despite my love for pink undertones in foundation, Clair sometimes feels too childish, while Nude is more serious, more laid-back, and more suitable for everyday wear.

I won't even get started on Dore – it's just not my cup of tea, unless I mix it with a lighter shade.

The texture of BB Erborian is amazing – it's both thick and super pliable at the same time.

I was impressed by how little foundation I needed to cover my entire face – a single small pea-sized amount did the trick. And I love that I can apply it with my fingers – the texture glides on smoothly and evenly.

The coverage is light to medium, and it's amazing how natural it looks. Any minor imperfections are completely covered up.

But does it give me that elusive 'baby skin' effect – healthy, smooth, and radiant? You be the judge!

I'm thoroughly impressed, to say the least.

I took this mini version of Clair with me on my recent trip, worried that the 5ml would run out after a week. But it lasted me the entire trip, and I even had enough left over for a half-full tube when I got back home. Based on my usage, I'd say the travel-sized 15ml version would last me around 6 weeks.

But I'd be lying if I said I didn't find any downsides. In the heat, even with a light layer of BB cream, my face starts to get shiny. Not that I was expecting a matte finish, though.

"Молодость" from Russian Beauty Guru is still my go-to toner, though. It gives my skin a porcelain-like finish and a delicate glow that I just can't get enough of. I've gotta say, this Korean BB cream really won me over! I was surprised by how much I loved it, and now I see why all the fans around the world are raving about it.
