Aravia Professional Smart Molecular Oil

I've been using this oil for a few weeks now, and I'm really impressed. It's specifically designed for manicures and pedicures, so you can bet it's gonna deliver. The formula's smart, it nourishes your nails and cuticles for a healthy, beautiful look. Plus, it's super easy to apply and absorb, making it a great addition to your self-care routine. I've noticed a big difference in the health and appearance of my nails since I started using it.

My Love for Aravia Products, But a Major Flaw in Their Cuticle Oil

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've been a huge fan of Aravia products for years, but their cuticle oil left me underwhelmed. I've used their 550ml hand cream with a dispenser nonstop, but the cuticle oil's performance was a major letdown. I thought it'd be a great maintenance treatment between manicures, but it just didn't deliver. The oil's lightweight texture is a definite plus - it absorbs quickly, which is a big plus for dry skin. However, the pipette's design is a total pain, and it leaks all over the place. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it without making a mess. Despite the issues, I do think it's a pretty affordable option, especially considering the value for money. But, for me, the convenience just isn't there. I'd love to give it another try if they could sort out the packaging.

My Love for Aravia Products, But a Major Flaw in Their Cuticle Oil
Hello!
I've been using Aravia products for years, and I've got to say, I'm really impressed with how well they work and feel on my skin.
One of my favorite products from Aravia is their 550ml hand cream with a dispenser - it's become a staple on my desk.
So, I thought I'd give their cuticle oil a try.
First impressions - the oil comes in a cardboard box, with a pipette included. The dark glass bottle looks really convincing.
I used the oil as a maintenance treatment between manicure sessions, just like the description suggested.
You can use the oil for at-home care between manicure and pedicure sessions.
The manufacturer's promises are pretty enticing:
Nourishing oil with a lightweight texture for polishing and caring for your skin. It's designed to deliver the nutrients and vitamins in the formula deep into your skin, providing intense care and protection from cracks and ridges. It helps to remove excess dryness and flakiness.
The product absorbs really quickly and doesn't leave any greasiness or stickiness behind. It's perfect for finishing up a salon manicure and getting your nails camera-ready.
And it really does absorb quickly!
One of the key ingredients that caught my eye was grape seed oil. It's an amazing natural oil for protecting your skin from aging, nourishing, and soothing it, while also strengthening the delicate skin around your nails.
The bioactive formula also includes a complex of vitamins A, E, and F, which are super-activating and help improve skin exchange processes, preventing cracks and flakiness, and strengthening your skin's natural barrier.
And let's not forget about the chamomile extract and bisabolol - they're a game-changer for soothing and hydrating my skin, and even helped prevent those pesky cracks.
The formula itself is pretty impressive, and I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight the texture was. It's almost like a gentle oil, and it spreads really easily, but absorbs quickly without leaving any greasiness behind.
The scent is neutral, which I appreciate.
Now, onto the main con that prompted me to write this review - the pipette is absolute garbage! The dosing mechanism doesn't work at all.
As soon as you take it out of the bottle, the oil starts dripping everywhere! You need to use it with a cloth nearby, or you'll end up with a mess - the table, floor, and possibly even your clothes! Each time I use it, I'm essentially cleaning up the area. I'm not even getting into how wasteful it is to pour oil all over the place.
I've learned to hold the pipette horizontally to minimize the mess, but honestly, why should I have to deal with this hassle? There are plenty of other oils from lesser-known brands that offer the same results without the drama.
So, despite the product itself being decent, the packaging issues bring it down to 3 stars. I won't be buying this again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.
I've tried to give Aravia the benefit of the doubt, but the pipette's design is a major letdown. It's a shame, because the product itself is actually pretty good.
I've been using Aravia products for years, and I've always been happy with their value for money. This cuticle oil is no exception - it's a great product, but the pipette's issues make it a hassle to use.

Pros of the cuticle oil include its lightweight texture, quick absorption, and neutral scent. However, the cons far outweigh the pros, and I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone else.
Cons include the absolute garbage pipette, which doesn't work at all, and the oil's tendency to drip everywhere when using the pipette.
Overall, I'd say that the cuticle oil is a decent product, but the pipette's issues make it a hassle to use. If you're looking for a good cuticle oil, I'd recommend exploring other options.
