A Concert Experience That Fell Short

This concert had all the makings of a great event – beautiful setting, talented musicians, and a great program. But poor organization, a subpar emcee, and a hefty price tag made it a total letdown.
I gotta say, I was really looking forward to this concert in Volgograd. The promotional materials had me sold – a beautiful amphitheater, plenty of candles, and classical music. But, as they say, the devil's in the details.
First off, the number of candles was nowhere near what the trailer promised. I get it, maybe it was just a Moscow thing, but it was still a letdown.
Then, when we got to the amphitheater, things only got worse. The organization was a total mess. People were just sitting wherever they wanted, except for the VIP area, of course. But even that wasn't well-managed. By the time the concert started, many people were still trying to find a seat.
The program was another issue altogether. Instead of a live emcee, we got a pre-recorded voice that was trying way too hard to be sexy. I mean, come on, it's just not a good look. And to make matters worse, they completely skipped one of the tracks – the Game of Thrones theme by Ramin Djawadi. I was really looking forward to hearing that, and it was a total bummer.
Lastly, the price of the event was just not justified. 2,500 rubles is a lot of money, especially considering the venue was just an open-air amphitheater. I mean, I've been to concerts with better equipment and lighting for a fraction of the cost.
Overall, I was really disappointed with this experience. I'm glad I got the ticket as a gift, or I would have been even more upset.
