A Fantastic Stay at Citytel Group 4* in St. Petersburg - Great Value for Money!

summarizeEditor's Summary

We just spent a night at the Citytel Group hotel in St. Petersburg, and I've got to say, it was a total blast. This place has got character for days - think reception desks, long corridors, restaurants, spas, and a panoramic view that's perfect for sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a sunset drink. The rooms were spotless, and the price was a total steal. We booked two identical rooms for our family of five, and it was an awesome value for money. Plus, the location is central, with tons of amenities within walking distance.

The hotel is right on the Neva River embankment, with a stunning view of the city center and the cruiser Aurora. There's a metro station, Gor'kovskaya, just a stone's throw away.

Parking
The hotel has a parking lot: 200₽ per hour or 2000₽ per day. When you're checking out, they'll calculate the final cost. I wanted to avoid paying, so we parked our car outside the hotel on the same street. The car was visible from the window, and parking was free.
Citytel Group 4*About the hotel
A hotel with a unique panoramic view.
Modern rooms. The best restaurant La Vue on the roof.
A new spa complex with a pool. A charging station for electric cars.

One of the standout features of this hotel is the rooftop restaurant La Vue, which offers panoramic views of the city. I also loved the Meeting Point lobby bar, and the Galaxy Beauty Institute is conveniently located in the same building.

The corridors are long, but there are plenty of rooms – I'm talking hundreds. Thankfully, the 7 elevators make it easy to get around without waiting too long.

The room number was spotless, and the bed was super comfy. Fresh, white linens were a nice touch. There was a kettle, tea, coffee, water, a mini-fridge, and a safe.

Breakfast
We hadn't booked breakfast, but it was available for an extra 1400 rubles per person. Kids under 7 ate for free.
We went for a nighttime stroll along the Liteiny Bridge and embankment. By the way, the bridge is infested with spiders, so it's best not to lean on it.
