YoBiYoBi Sushi Delivery

YoBiYoBi Sushi Delivery

I'm a big fan of YoBiYoBi's sushi delivery network - they've got a seriously impressive selection of sushi and rolls to choose from. I mean, we're talking spicy tuna, classic California rolls, and everything in between. Plus, their menu is always changing, so you can try something new every time. And the best part? They deliver right to your doorstep, so you can skip the cooking and leave the house. It's a total game-changer for anyone who loves sushi but hates the hassle of making it themselves. With YoBiYoBi, you can enjoy a delicious meal without breaking a sweat.

A Disappointing Experience with Yobidoyobi

summarizeEditor's Summary

I used to be a huge fan of sushi, but lately, I've been super disappointed with the quality at Yobidoyobi. I'm talking subpar rolls, unappealing presentation, and a delivery process that's more complicated than it needs to be. I ordered through Yandex.Edu, which was convenient, but the whole experience was a letdown. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe or got a new chef, but my go-to orders just haven't been delivering. I'm giving them a solid 2 out of 5 stars, and I'd advise people to look elsewhere for better sushi options.

I used to love the rolls from Yakitoriya. They were my go-to spot for sushi, but lately, the quality has been pretty disappointing. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe or got a new sushi chef, but my favorite menu items just haven't been delivering the same experience. I hung onto Yakitoriya for a long time, but eventually, I realized I needed to find an alternative, since there weren't any positive changes.
Out of the options in our city, Yobidoyobi caught my attention. I've seen their delivery around town, and I thought I'd give it a shot, especially since I'd seen some decent reviews online. Plus, I was curious about their rolls.
Yobidoyobi ReviewI'd seen some negative reviews about the delivery service on this site, so I decided to order through Yandex.Edu instead of downloading their app or navigating their website. It was quick and convenient. No complaints about the delivery speed, but there were some issues with the order process. Specifically, I was surprised to find that no soy sauce, ginger, wasabi, or even chopsticks came with the expensive set. I've ordered sushi delivery from other places, and it's always included the basics. The option to choose the number of utensils was available, but I only got one set of chopsticks, which I'd paid for.
Yobidoyobi ReviewI went with the "В рот - и точка!" set. I have to say, that's one of the more creative set names I've seen. I was giggling at the names while I was ordering. Okay, I'll try to be more sophisticated - I was chuckling, or maybe even laughing a little. At least it was something interesting, unlike the quality and taste of the actual rolls.
The "В рот - и точка!" set includes 4 types of rolls: Philadelphia Big, California, Caesar Big, and Baked Salmon. It's a classic combo that's hard to beat. The set was divided into two parts and packaged separately.
A Disappointing ExperienceA Disappointing ExperienceI was excited to try Yobidoyobi with the rolls that came with it - soy sauce, ginger, and sticks. The rolls were placed in a paper bag with handles and a design that echoed the name of the network - it was a bit too much for me.A Disappointing ExperienceThe order was wrapped in a paper bag with handles and a design that echoed the name of the network - it was a bit too much for me.A Disappointing ExperienceI started with the Philadelphia roll. It was edible, but the rolls fell apart when I tried to dip them in soy sauce. I mean, it's not like I was expecting a Michelin-starred experience, but it was just a letdown.
The California roll was a bit better in terms of construction, but it was still pretty bland. I could eat it to fill my stomach, but it wasn't exactly a culinary delight. I've had better sushi at a local food truck.
A Disappointing ExperienceA Disappointing ExperienceThe Grilled Salmon roll was the only one that I somewhat enjoyed. But it was the cream cheese topping that saved it - I barely tasted the salmon. I mean, it's not like I was expecting a salmon explosion in my mouth, but it was just okay.
The Caesar Big roll was a huge letdown. First of all, the smell was off-putting. It wasn't spoiled, but it was just unpleasant. My husband and I discovered that it was due to the sauce on top of the rolls. Second, the roll was just plain bad. The tortilla was dry, and the filling didn't even match. Trying to dip it in soy sauce was a hassle. And to top it all off, it was just a salad wrapped in a tortilla and called a roll - not exactly what I was expecting. I ended up throwing it away because it was just that bad.
A Disappointing ExperienceI was expecting to spend a nice evening with my favorite rolls, but what I got was a disappointing experience. Yobidoyobi can't even compare to Yakitoriya, which is still way better. I won't be ordering from Yobidoyobi again, but if you're stuck with no other options, I'd recommend sticking to the classics - at least you can be sure it'll be decent.

P.S. About cafes and restaurants:
I was excited to try the cafe at Moscow's Aquarium, but it's more than just a restaurant - it's also a cafe on the veranda during warm weather. I'll share my thoughts on whether we enjoyed it and what I was disappointed with when I saw the bill.

To be honest, I've seen some people complaining about the prices at the Chocolate Cafe in Moscow's Aquarium, but in my opinion, it's the best option for families with kids.

It's actually the first restaurant where I've ever opted out of a dish without even trying it.
