GraSS Autochemistry Defroster

I've gotta say, this GraSS Autochemistry defroster is a total game-changer for car owners. It's super easy to use and does the job of clearing ice and frost from your windshield and locks in no time. Plus, it's built to withstand freezing temps, so you can count on it to perform when you need it most. It's perfect for those harsh winter mornings when you need to get on the road quickly. I've used it on days when the temperature was below zero, and it still worked like a charm. Don't let ice and frost hold you back - this defroster has got you covered.

Winter's Got Nothing on Me: My Go-To Anti-Ice Defroster

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've been using the Anti-led defroster from Grass for a week now, and it's been a total lifesaver during our short winter season. The build quality is surprisingly solid, and the battery life is longer than I expected. It's a must-have for any car owner in our region, especially during the winter months. I keep it in my driver's seat pocket, and it's super convenient to use. I've tried it on my windshield, side mirrors, and even my wiper blades, and it works like a charm. It's not the cheapest option, but trust me, it's worth every penny.

Hello everyone!
I've got a winter helper that's been a lifesaver - the 'Anti-led' defroster from Grass. As winter's back in our region, albeit briefly, I thought it was the perfect time to share my experience with this product.
xa0
First off, let's get the basics down:
A quick rundown:
Anti-led Defroster: a glass and lock de-icer for cars.
Brand: Grass
Manufactured in Russia;
Shelf life: 3 years;
Volume: 500 ml;
Price: around 200 rubles;
I personally ordered it from Wildberries, you can also buy it at a specialized Grass store.
xa0
The packaging is pretty straightforward - a 0.5L transparent bottle with a sprayer.
xa0
I keep it in my car's driver's seat pocket. It's convenient, doesn't spill or fly around the cabin.
Something to keep in mind - it's not impossible, so I recommend storing Anti-led in a vertical position.
xa0
The screw-top cap, which is also the sprayer, works smoothly without any issues. It sprays a small cloud of the substance, and the pressure is strong enough to cover the middle of the windshield.
There are two settings: 'Spray' and 'Off'. After using the substance, I always flip it to the 'off' position, so the sprayer doesn't accidentally go off.
On the front of the auto-chemical, there's a sticker with the logo and a winter landscape. On the back, you'll find the composition, precautions, and usage instructions.
The composition is chemical-based, similar to a defroster, so the usual precautions apply - don't drink it, don't spray it in your eyes, etc.
Composition:
>30% water; >5%, but <15% ethylene glycol, <5% isopropanol, dye.
It's clear that the pink liquid is due to the dye. To be honest, the color is pretty feminine and warning at the same time. What's great is that you can apply it to your car's paint (my car is white, and I've found that the color doesn't leave any pink residue after washing).
xa0
No sediment forms in the bottle, and the color is consistent. Consistency: water.
Smell: pretty strong, so if you accidentally spill the stuff, you'll notice right away. I'd recommend airing out your car after using it, or you'll be left with a lingering smell that's similar to de-icer.
xa0
Anti-ice Defroster in action:
I'm lucky that winter wasn't too harsh, with minimal temperature drops, but this is already my second bottle for the 2019-2020 winter season.
I'll show you how this stuff works in action. One morning, I stepped out to my car, and here's what I saw:
All my car's windows, including the windshield and rear, were covered in a thick layer of ice. Since it was still warm the night before, but then dropped below freezing, I started the engine and turned on the windshield defroster. You know how sometimes you have to wait, and time is of the essence. That's where a scraper comes in handy, but I only had to use mine once, after some miscreants bent my wiper blades...and they just stopped working. And to be honest, I don't want to scrape my windows if I have anti-ice.
I sprayed the anti-ice on all the windows – literally 2-3 spritzes.
It started working almost immediately – the anti-ice is effective. I clean the windshield with my de-icer and the wipers work fine, while for the side windows, I just wipe them clean with a cloth.
The windshield from the inside:
xa0
And this is the result I get after 5 minutes:
xa0
I've found that the transparent glass treatment is a game-changer, especially for new drivers like me who need a clear view. I even use it on passenger windows to make sure I have a full view of the road.
Some might say that this is just a de-icer, and they're not wrong. But what if you need to defrost the glass from the inside, like I did after a wash last fall when I forgot to dry the carpets properly and water seeped onto the dashboard? I ended up with this:
I tried heating the windshield for 10 minutes, but as you can see, the result wasn't great. Luckily, I remembered about the de-icer, and it really saved me. By the way, that's the time I first noticed the strong chemical smell of the product. It's not something you'd want to leave in your car.
I haven't had a chance to test the defroster for locks, so I won't comment on that.
xa0
I'm really happy with the results of using this de-icer. It's made a huge difference for me, improving my visibility and saving me from the hassle of dealing with icy windows.
In fact, I've got a small collection of products from this brand, and they've all performed well.

Thanks for reading! I hope my review is helpful to other drivers, especially women.
