What the device worked against!

In general, I'm not complaining and don't see anything terrible about it: I've learned to deal with "guests" using various methods, including mousetraps, glue traps, and watchdogs.

However, due to family circumstances, I've been away from the apartment for a long time (about 1 year), and it's been mostly empty. This led to a geometric increase in the mouse population. My tried-and-tested methods weren't effective, so I had to buy ultrasonic mouse repellent devices.

First off, I bought two of these devices, even though one 63-square-meter apartment would've been enough for me. I placed one in the entryway and the other in a room. One of them just sat there doing nothing for an entire month, though.
