A super helpful book for speech therapy that's been a lifesaver for our kids!

summarizeEditor's Summary

This book has been a total lifesaver for us when it comes to helping our kids develop proper pronunciation and speech skills. We've been using it for a while now, and I'm really impressed with the results. The book is well-structured, and the illustrations are vibrant and easy to understand for kids. The cover design may vary depending on the edition year, but that's not a big deal for me. The book provides a wealth of exercises and activities to help your child practice their speech skills, and it's designed to be used in conjunction with speech therapy sessions. I've seen significant improvements in my kids' speech skills since we started using the book, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable resource to help their kids improve their speech skills.

Our logopedist recommended it to us, and I was eager to get it, but then I realized we'd already worked with it when our eldest was younger.
The cover design may vary depending on the edition year, but that's not really a big deal.

My Takeaways.
We bought this book for our older daughter back in 2013:
It was a 2013 publication from the publisher.
I was shocked to discover that my daughter started reading on her own at just 3 years old - not even reading by syllables. I found out about it completely by accident when she suddenly read a sign in a store we'd never been to before. Before that, she would correct me when I misread words in a book, and I thought she just remembered them. Of course, it was a surprise for us both. I started reading at 5 years old. Every child is unique, and this is no exception.
We decided to buy this book to help her develop proper pronunciation. Plus, the lessons were really engaging because she could not only read pictures but also text:
Our older daughter didn't have any additional speech therapy sessions at preschool. We worked on it together. I showed her cards and read stories and poems from the book. Those cards have been with me for 13 years now, and they still look brand new.
xa0
Both my older and middle daughter loved working with these books:
My middle daughter also worked with this book, including her speech therapist at preschool! She's now using it to help her little brother, and she remembers the material, so it's especially interesting for her!
We're just starting with the first chapter with my three-year-old, and he's not really into it:
With my older and middle daughter, we only worked with the speech therapist in the preparatory group because they had trouble with one letter. Before they were six, we were told it wasn't worth addressing because of just one letter.
xa0
Working with this book has been a total game-changer for us!
I want to highlight the main pros:
Here are the main pros:
✔ Quality material.
✔ Effective methodology.
✔ Helps with proper pronunciation.
✔ Engaging illustrations.
✔ Fun, game-like approach to learning.
✔ The kids love working with the book.
✔ Additional pictures to accompany the exercises.
xa0
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a helpful resource for speech development!

Thanks for reading! I hope you're doing well!
I had to install Max in a somewhat forced order. My husband joked that we'll all be there soon, either early or late. Now with Max, I can just head out to the shops and grab a drink without needing my passport!
