We just got back from the Snow Maiden ballet at the State Kremlin Palace, and let me tell you, it was totally enchanting!

The play by Ostrovsky is seriously complex and thought-provoking, with characters that are multifaceted and conflicts that really make you think.

The libretto by V. Burmistrov is amazingly faithful to the original play, and choreographer Andrey Petrov did an incredible job of bringing the story to life on stage.

The scenes of folk celebrations and rituals were so vibrant and dynamic, they really drew us into the world of the Berendei people.

The sets and costumes were incredibly authentic, transporting us to a magical world where Snow Maiden lived. Each character's costume was a work of art, from the snowflakes to the birds, the forest spirits, and the seasons.

The music by Tchaikovsky, performed by the Radio Orpheus Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Sergei Kondrashin, was simply breathtaking.
