Sheba Craft Chicken in Gravy Cat Food

I've tried a bunch of cat foods, but Sheba Craft really stands out. Their chicken in gravy formula is a total winner with my feline friend - it's like a home-cooked meal for them. Made with high-quality ingredients, you can trust that you're giving your cat the best. I've noticed a real difference in their coat and overall energy levels since switching to Sheba Craft.

Sheba's Craft Line Falls Flat - A Disappointing Experience

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've been a loyal Sheba customer for a while now, but their new Craft line has left me feeling pretty underwhelmed. The formula change is a complete mystery - they don't give any clear details on the meat content, and the added preservatives are a major turnoff for me. My cat's not impressed either - the new chunks just don't cut it. The packaging looks nice, I'll give them that, but it's not enough to make up for the lack of quality. If you're looking for a reliable cat food, you might want to explore other options. Sheba's Craft line just doesn't deliver on its promises - it's not the worst value for money, but it's not worth the premium price either.

Sheba's Craft Line Falls Flat - A Disappointing Experience
Hello there!
I'm a regular buyer of Sheba cat food, and I've got to say, it's a great value for money. My cat loves it, and it's easy to find.
Over the years, I've noticed a change in the formula. The old version was more transparent about the meat content, listing it as 20-25%. Now, they don't specify the percentage. Still, I keep buying it, hoping the formula hasn't changed too much.
Sheba has been around for a long time, and they've just released a new line called Craft.
The new packaging is the standard Sheba design - a black background with a cute cat. This time, though, it says 'Craft' in the middle and has the word 'slices' written in a trendy font.
On the back, they've got the ingredients, recommended dosage, and weight.
The chunks in the sauce come in various shapes. They look eerily similar to the classic Sheba version. The aroma is slightly different, but I thought it was sweeter - and it actually was.
Sheba CraftThe ingredient list is pretty vague. At the top, we have 'meat and offal' - but what kind, exactly? Next up are 'processed grains.'
Then, pay attention - 'thickeners, colorants, sugars.' I won't go into the details of why this is bad, but it's pretty self-explanatory.
Sheba CraftMy cat devoured the whole packet, but I won't be buying this food again.
For an adult cat of average weight (4 kg), you'll need 3-4 packets per day. Feed your cat the product at room temperature, and make sure they always have fresh water in their bowl.
At the end of the day, we're paying for the design, the marketing, and the flashy slogans - but not for the quality.
I'd give this food 2 stars and a firm 'no' from me.
Thanks for reading!

Sheba CraftAccording to the manufacturer, Sheba Craft Collection is made with high-quality ingredients, carefully selected and prepared using a special technology.
The recommended dosage is 3-4 packets per day for an adult cat of average weight (4 kg). You should feed your cat the product at room temperature and always have fresh water in their bowl.
The nutritional value of Sheba Craft is as follows: protein 12 g, fats 2 g, ash 1 g, fiber 0.3 g, moisture 84 g, vitamin A at least 150 IU, and vitamin E at least 1 mg. The energy value is 70 kcal per 100 g.
The ingredient list is pretty vague. At the top, we have 'meat and offal' - but what kind, exactly? Next up are 'processed grains.'
Then, pay attention - 'thickeners, colorants, sugars.' I won't go into the details of why this is bad, but it's pretty self-explanatory.
The packaging is pretty standard Sheba fare, with a black background and a cute cat. However, this time it says 'Craft' in the middle and has the word 'slices' written in a trendy font.
My cat loves the new Craft line, but I'm extremely disappointed in the food. The ingredients are unclear, and the presence of sugars, thickeners, and dyes is a major turn-off.
I'm not even sure what's 'crafty' about this product - besides the proud label on the packaging, the design, and the aroma, which are all pretty standard Sheba fare.
At the end of the day, we're paying for the design, the marketing, and the flashy slogans - but not for the quality.
My Verdict
I'd give this food 2 stars and a firm 'no' from me. While my cat seems to enjoy it, I'm not willing to compromise on the quality of the ingredients. If you're looking for a high-quality cat food, I'd recommend exploring other options.
