I recently visited the Russian Impressionism Museum over the winter, and I'm excited to share my thoughts with you. The museum is quite large, spanning three floors: 1, 2, and 3. On the first floor, you'll find the coat check and ticket booths. It's where the journey begins.
As I understood, the exhibits change frequently, and currently, until January 21, there's an exhibit called 'Author Unknown.' I was curious to see what it had to offer.
Each painting has a helpful description plaque nearby, which really adds to the overall experience.
I was surprised to see such an interpretation of a famous poet and translator. The portrait is a bit too thin, and the expression looks gaunt.
Something caught my eye - the shadows were changing in a way that added depth to the painting.

I visited the museum on Sunday, and it was packed. If you want to participate in all the activities without a wait, it's better to go on a weekday when it opens, just like everywhere else.

VERDICT: I'm giving it 5 stars and I highly recommend checking it out!
