I've learned my lesson the hard way: be prepared for Rostelecom to change your contract terms on a whim, just like they did with me and countless others.

Now, even the menu doesn't have a 4K section - a pretty big change from what we're used to.And don't even get me started on their technical support - it's designed to wear you down and make you lose interest in the problem, leaving it unresolved. I've dealt with some pretty unhelpful staff in my time, and I've had it up to here.

Before, there was a section with 4K channels - it was a nice little perk.I've been a Rostelecom customer for years, and we've had our fair share of issues, but we've always managed to figure things out, even if it wasn't always easy. But lately, things have taken a turn for the worse.

One of the major problems I've encountered is with the 4K channels in my 'Transformer' package. This package includes four channels in 4K format, which is a pretty sweet deal. But recently, two of the four channels just vanished without any explanation or notification. And to make matters worse, the remaining two channels are now gone too.

I spent a ton of time trying to get my channels back, going back and forth with emails and phone calls, but it was all for nothing. I even suggested swapping my current package for another one with 4K channels, without increasing my monthly bill. But Rostelecom's response was less than ideal.

They offered me packages with 4K channels, but at a much higher price than I was willing to pay. It was clear that they were more interested in making a sale than in helping me resolve the issue.

After two days of chatting, calling their technical support, and posting on VK, the problem remained unsolved. The staff were usually indifferent, didn't want to get to the bottom of things, and some of them were even incompetent, giving me different answers to the same questions. It was frustrating, to say the least.

In the end, I realized that if I'm not happy with the service, I can just leave, and Rostelecom won't try to hold me back. So, I've decided to take my business elsewhere.

So, I wouldn't recommend Rostelecom to anyone. Their contract changes and subpar support have left a bad taste in my mouth.
