A Sweet Treat with Some Downsides: Rex Vanilla Caramel Milk Bar Review

I'm a total sucker for sweets, so today I'm excited to share my thoughts on Essen Factory Rex Vanilla Caramel Milk Bar

Where I bought it: Naokha

Price: 29.9 rubles

I recently picked up this bar at a store in Naokha, and I'm excited to share my thoughts on it.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information about this product on the Essen Factory website.

The packaging is a lovely blue color, and it features a picture of a dog that looks like Rex.

The packaging has all the necessary info on it, including the weight and calorie count.

The bar weighs 42 grams, and according to the label, it has 230.5 kcal

That's a bit calorie-heavy for something that's almost 50 grams, but it's not a deal-breaker.

The taste is sweet, but somehow a bit too rich, above average, I'd say. But it's not a glaze, it's a nice milk chocolate.

FillingThe filling's somehow similar to the cream in Raffaello or pastries, it's soft and gentle, not too sweet.

I enjoyed the dessert, but it seemed a bit too sweet. Although, taking it as a sweet addition or snack - it's perfectly fine. I've been drinking coffee and tea without sugar for over a year now, so in a solo version, this bar with juice or compote would be too sweet, but with unsweetened coffee - it's nice.

It's almost like Kinder milk chocolate, but not quite. I'll be writing a review about the alternative soon. Spoiler alert - it's the Monetka candies, everyone loved them. So, there will be a review soon.

I'd recommend the Rex bar from Essen factory, they're tasty, but sweet. The only downside is that there's no information about this type of dessert on their official website.

I've also been experimenting with finding healthier alternatives to satisfy my sweet tooth. I've been trying out these stevia-based candies from Pobeda Vkus and I'm impressed. As someone who's been tracking my calorie intake, I'm always on the lookout for options that fit within my daily limits. These candies have been a game-changer for me, and I've been able to indulge in them without feeling guilty. I've lost a significant amount of weight since January, and I attribute a lot of that to making healthier choices like this.

I've also been enjoying the Essens brand of low-calorie candies. They're so delicious and I love that I can have them without worrying about ruining my diet. I've been having them as a treat after meals, and they really hit the spot. I've even started to crave them, which is a great sign that I'm making progress with my weight loss journey.

I recently tried the Vispu chocolate candies from Pobeda Vkus, and I was blown away by how good they taste. They're so rich and decadent, but still manage to be low in calories. I've been having them as an occasional treat, and I've been loving every bite. I've also been enjoying other candies from this brand, and I'm excited to share my top picks with you in a future post.
