Seven Months Later, I'm Still Loving This Portable Crib

Picking out a crib is a big decision, and I get why it can be tough. The first crib you buy might not be around for long, and let's be real, it's not always the most comfortable for your little one.

That's when someone suggested I look into these soft, portable cribs. They're easy to clean, lightweight, super easy to take on the go, often multi-functional, and come in a variety of colors.

Features. This crib has two levels - the bottom one is perfect for kids up to 9 kg. It's super easy to access your little one, and the high sides are mesh, so you don't have to worry about them getting stuck. No extra pillows needed! The top level is super secure, attached with sturdy plastic clips. On one side, there are wheels, so you can easily move it around the apartment.

The big mesh panels provide great ventilation, plenty of lighting, and let you keep an eye on your little one when they're sleeping or playing.You can open the side vent.There's a handy storage pocket on one of the walls.The mattress can be set up on the lower level for playtime or on the upper level (using the adhesive strips) for a quick snooze.The wheels make it easy to move the playpen around the house.There are additional support legs in the middle.All the corners and edges that could be hazardous to your child are protected by special anti-trip strips.The foldable design is perfect for transporting.I have to admit, it took us a bit longer to assemble than expected, but that's only because we weren't paying close enough attention to the instructions. The changing table is pretty funny at first - I mean, for the first few months, it's basically a joke. But after that, you can use it as a shelf. It's suitable for a 3kg baby, and there's a strap to secure it. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, though.

The mobile is pretty cool - it's mechanical, so you need to wind it up. It plays a nice tune, too.

Some people immediately pointed out that now our place feels like a rabbit hutch. I hope there's enough room for both of us in there eventually.

I was really happy with the purchase of the additional mattress that came with the crib. It's thin and firm, which I like. The crib itself doesn't have a vibrating function, but I don't use that feature anyway, so it's just a bonus for me. It feels sturdy and is easy to clean. I was a bit worried about the mesh sides, but they're actually really great. My kid can see everything around them and doesn't get anxious. The crib also gets great airflow, which is a big plus. I was a bit skeptical about the potty changing station, but it's actually held up really well - even with my kid weighing 7 kg, it's still in great shape. Of course, you still need to supervise your kid when they're using it, but it's been a total game-changer for me. Now that my kid is a bit bigger, we've moved the potty station to the bottom of the crib, and it's been a great spot for her to play.

Seven months in, I wanted to add an update to my review.

I'm so glad I went with the fabric crib. I was worried that my kid would get hurt or stuck, but it's been a total non-issue. The mesh sides are amazing - my kid can see everything around them and doesn't get anxious. The crib also gets great airflow, which is a big plus. I was a bit skeptical about the potty changing station, but it's actually held up really well - even with my kid weighing 7 kg, it's still in great shape. Of course, you still need to supervise your kid when they're using it, but it's been a total game-changer for me.

My kid slept in the top level of the crib until she was about 7 months old. Then she started trying to climb out, but it was no big deal - we just moved her down to the bottom level. Now she's too big to climb out, but she still loves to play in the crib.

The bottom level of the crib is really spacious, and my kid loves to stretch out and play. There's also a little ladder that she'll be able to use soon.

The crib is really easy to move around when I'm cleaning, and it's also easy to clean itself. I think it'll be a great crib for us for at least another year.
