A Periodika Photo Book Review: Worth the Chance?

I never thought I'd need to rush-print photos from each month after becoming a mom in March, but life had other plans. Before I knew it, I was scrambling to create a photo book quickly and easily.

I initially considered ordering a photo book from a non-printing service, but I'm not exactly tech-savvy - it takes me forever to figure out those phone editors. The app is super inconvenient, and that's when I started searching for apps. That's when I stumbled upon Periodika.

Periodika's developers are geniuses! Their app is beautiful, with an intuitive design, and it's super easy to add photos. You can even automatically hide photos you've already added to the album - I was hooked! I added almost 10,000 rubles' worth of albums to my cart, but then I read a review that made me hesitant. I quickly removed the most expensive albums from my cart and decided to try a cheaper option - a 15x20 cm book for 1,490 rubles.

I used a promo code for a discount, chose delivery to a Sdak pickup point, and waited.

I want to mention that the order updates via SMS are super well-done - I'm impressed!

Three days passed, and I was waiting for my husband to bring me the book, but I was left disappointed.

Here's the good part: the book's binding and cover are made well. The design is also thought-out, which is something I appreciate.

However, the print quality is a different story. I'm specifically showing you some more or less decent photos. The quality is just... weird, and the other photos are not printed everywhere - they're faded.

When I got the book, I let out a sigh of relief. I'm glad I removed the expensive, fabric albums from my cart and sent the video to my friends in the chat - they were shocked. One of them ordered a book from Enjoy, and it turned out perfect, but it was 400 rubles more expensive. The others all went with non-printing services.

Of course, everyone thanked me for saving them money, and I'm glad I could help. At least I saved someone some money - too bad it wasn't me, though.

Periodika gets a plus for reaching out to me to clarify what I didn't like.

Overall, I'd say that Periodika is a decent option for those who want to create a photo book quickly and easily. However, the print quality is a major letdown. If you're looking for a high-quality photo book, you might want to consider other options.
