- a color that wasn't brown or any of its shades. I would have loved a black color, but baby clothes are usually bright, flashy, and over-accessorized.
As a new parent, I was already getting used to people's opinions on what's best for my baby. Like the time our nurse commented that kids' clothes should be more 'fun'. Yeah, that's just one of those things you have to get used to.
After scrolling through the product list for a while, I found this set and made the order without hesitation.

The material's listed as cotton, but I'm no textile expert. By feel, the fabric is soft and pleasant, and most importantly, it didn't cause any allergic reactions or discomfort for my baby.
The size range listed by the seller is from 56 to 86. Our smallest size was 56, which had outside seams and transformable sleeves with the option to completely hide the cuffs. This was to prevent any pressure or scary moments for the baby.
When it comes to size, it's really individual. Our little one turned out to be too small for even the 56 size after returning from the hospital. We spent about a week and a half struggling with swaddling and a big cocoon, which was also oversized.
However, the rompers were actively used, and although a bit too big, they were better than swaddles. We didn't buy much clothing in advance, as we understood that the baby would grow rapidly. Apart from this set, we had another romper and two onesies with open legs and cuffs.
And then there was the spitting up... it was a real challenge keeping everything clean. We washed everything daily.
This set was used the most in daily life. I washed it on a delicate cycle at 30 degrees, and then dried it in a dryer on a delicate cycle. Every. Single. Day.
Fast forward a month, and here's the result. The green romper. The most worn-out one. It's covered in cat hair, and one button is almost lost.

Looking back, I'm not exactly heartbroken about the fact that they only lasted so long and didn't exactly hold up to wear and tear. Babies grow fast, and they're always getting messy in different ways. There's no point in buying a whole wardrobe when they're still tiny.
Without any hesitation, these slips are going straight into the bin - no saving for later or passing them on to someone else. They did their job for 100% - and that's it. With daily washing and drying, their condition could've been a lot worse.
