My Rollercoaster Ride at Our Guard

summarizeEditor's Summary

Working at Our Guard was a wild ride for me. I started out with a positive experience, but things took a turn for the worse after the leadership change. They cut back on work hours and required official employment, which wasn't what I expected. I'm not saying they're a bad company, but there are definitely some issues to watch out for.

My Rollercoaster Ride at Our Guard
I've got to be honest, my time at Our Guard was a wild ride. I worked there for a year, and things were pretty smooth at first. I started last fall, and it was like any other job.
But then the leadership at the production site changed, and things started to go downhill. They started cutting back on work hours and requiring official employment, which wasn't what I was expecting.
I think the production team was trying to make things tough, and it seemed like they were trying to poach employees. I've seen companies change their rules to keep staff, but in this case, I'm not sure it was done with the best intentions.
I worked at Our Guard long enough to know they're generally a good employer, but after the leadership change, something just didn't feel right. I'm not saying Our Guard is a bad company, but I wouldn't recommend it without some warnings.
If you're considering working at Our Guard, be cautious. They've got some good things going for them, but there are definitely some issues to watch out for.
They've got great working conditions, which is a big plus. There are long-term prospects, which is always a good thing. They offer official employment options, which is a nice perk. One thing that really bothered me was the delayed paychecks. It wasn't always easy to get paid on time. They started reducing work hours, which made it tough to get everything done. The rules were a bit unclear, which made it hard to know what to expect.
