I chose Isoflurane because it's considered the safest and most harmless option, with no impact on the heart or other organs. It's especially recommended for sensitive pets, pets with health issues, or older pets.

But I think it's a great option for healthy pets too, because why not make their lives as safe and stress-free as possible?

Gas anesthesia is about a thousand rubles more expensive than traditional anesthesia, but it's worth it, especially since spaying is a one-time thing. I wish I'd known about it when I had my cats spayed, but it wasn't an option back then!

There are two types of gas anesthesia: Isoflurane and Sevoflurane. We used Isoflurane, which is more commonly used, although Sevoflurane is more expensive and recommended for pets with health issues. To be honest, I didn't notice a difference between the two, but vets might know better!

Both of my cats were back to their normal selves immediately after the surgery, running around, playing, and eating like nothing had happened! No hangover whatsoever!
