I've been using a similar light fixture in my big closet for years, and it's still going strong. I bought it on Ali seven years ago, and it's been hanging on a magnet ever since. OUTSIDE LOOK

The lamp is a sleek, round design made of white plastic, with eight LED lights arranged in a circle, a charging port, and a button.

What I love about this light is that it's a USB rechargeable battery light, so you can charge it from any device. The cord is ridiculously short, though - I've seen some pretty short cords on Chinese tech at home, but this one takes the cake. I just plopped it on the edge of the toilet tank, and that's enough to get the light to work.

USAGE

The light has a motion sensor with high sensitivity. It's got a 120-degree detection angle. In auto mode, it turns on when it detects movement within 3 meters in a dark room, and then automatically turns off after 15 seconds of no movement. To be honest, 15 seconds is a bit short, but it's something.

If you need to, you can manually turn the light on and off with the button.

The light's brightness is pretty variable. It's got 3 different lighting modes:

- one click to turn on the light,

- two clicks to turn on the motion sensor,

- three clicks and holding for two seconds to adjust the brightness based on the lighting conditions.

You can also choose the color temperature of the light with the button: white, medium, or warm.

What I love about this light is how it covers a decent area of about 3 square meters. It's just the right distance for a nightlight - not too bright, but enough to see what you're doing. Anything beyond that and it gets a bit dim, but it's perfect for navigating your way around in the dark.

Battery Life

I was surprised by how quickly the light turns on when you plug it in – it's like a little red beacon. It charges pretty fast, but it also drains pretty quickly. I mean, even though it uses a dimmer yellow light and turns on about as often as our old light in the closet, I had to recharge it after just three weeks. The manufacturer claims it lasts for 5-7 hours, which is laughable. In this day and age of high-tech, long-lasting batteries and energy-efficient LEDs, a flashlight that turns on for 15 seconds at a time should last forever. For comparison, a similar flashlight from seven years ago, which has a motion sensor and warm light that turns on when you open the closet door, still runs on a single AA battery that we've only replaced three times since we bought it.
