The woody undertones take a bit of time to kick in, around 5-7 minutes after the citrus has faded.First, I tested it on myself - no reaction. Then I tried it on my son, and he loved it. Now he's a big kid, and he spritzes it on his shirt every morning. The scent lasts a decent amount of time - around two days on kids' clothes, and at least eight hours on adult clothing.
It's now sitting on our dresser with the rest of our sprays.
