I'm super excited to share my review of this mirrored maze, but let's get the basics out of the way first...

I bought a ticket that grants access to 5 attractions and museums for 1000 rubles, which is an amazing value for the price. The cost varies, but it's usually around 300-500 rubles, making it a great option for those on a budget.

The building is located on VDNH, which is a bit far from the main entrance, but you can take a free shuttle bus that runs almost from the main entrance. It's really convenient and saves you some time and energy.

There's a food stall near pavilion 55 that serves delicious corn on the cob, but they only accept cash, so make sure to bring some with you. Right by the entrance, there's a Sberbank ATM that's saved me more than once, and it's always a relief to have access to cash when you need it.

There's also a small café near the entrance, but the menu is limited – mostly just coffee. If you're looking for a proper meal, I recommend heading to Café Lastochka, which is just a 5-minute walk away, or one of the three McDonald's restaurants nearby.

You can buy tickets near the pavilion entrance, on the first and second floors of the pavilion itself. They check bags with metal detectors at the entrance, which is a good safety measure.

There's a toilet and a storage room inside, as well as a café that's currently closed. It's always a bit of a letdown when a place is closed, but I'm sure it'll be open soon.

The interior is well-lit, clean, and has plenty of comfortable seating, making it a great place to relax and take a break from the crowds.

There's a coat check, but it's not working during the summer months, which is a bit of a bummer if you have a lot of gear.

The pavilion is open every day from 11:00 to 20:00, which gives you plenty of time to visit and enjoy the attractions.

As you enter, you'll be greeted by this giant, graffiti-covered statue that's a popular spot for photos, especially with kids and adults.

Inside, you'll find 11 different locations, each one more exciting than the last:

- a ball pit that's perfect for kids (and adults!) to let loose and have some fun.

- a fear maze that's not for the faint of heart – it's dark, scary, and will definitely get your adrenaline pumping.

- a 'break the dishes' game that's a classic – you'll need to use your timing and precision to break the dishes without getting hit.

- an inverted house that's like being in a real-life funhouse – it's disorienting and will definitely make you laugh.

- a giant's house that's like being in a real-life fairy tale – it's magical and will transport you to another world.

- an illusions museum that's like being in a real-life magic show – it's mind-blowing and will leave you speechless.

- a human body exhibit that's like being in a real-life science museum – it's educational and will make you appreciate the human body even more.

Just above the entrance, near the ceiling, there's a huge, eye-catching banner that's so big, I had to take two photos to capture it all!

Keep in mind that if you're not a fan of crowds, it's best to visit on weekdays during the week, especially on opening days (especially on rainy days), or on weekends when the weather's nice – it gets ridiculously busy!

I walked upstairs right after the stairs and saw the toy store, but don't rush to buy anything there - it's super pricey. Although, if you've got kids and they see other parents buying stuff for their kids, it's hard to resist.

I approached the ticket checker with my ticket and they took my photo with a professional camera (they offer to buy a magnet with the photo, but I didn't want to spend the money and I wasn't in the mood to pose either). To be fair, the photo quality was really impressive!

You've got to put on those transparent gloves and walk slowly and carefully, with your arms out in front of you when you enter.

People aren't wearing masks, but if you want to, you can definitely wear one.

I walked into this funhouse and saw myself in front of me, to the sides, at the edges, and in all sorts of projections. I turned around and I was behind myself too!

The colorful lighting really boosts the mood - everything's shining and it's just so bright and beautiful!

If I'm being completely honest, from a professional standpoint, it's just a bunch of mirrors arranged in a specific (secret) way on a square space. But if you turn around, you'll definitely see the sign:

There's always a way out - just turn around!

And if you get lost, you can just shout to the ticket checker and say you want to go home - they'll definitely help you out!

The entrance and exit are right next to each other, separated by a couple of mirrors. But to get to the exit, you've got to wander around a bit.

I walked around for a bit, but there were a ton of people and it was hard to move - it's not that fun when you're walking through the maze alone.

And then I turned back - I had other adventures waiting for me!

Don't forget to take off those gloves when you leave - your hands will be sweating in them!

NOTES ON THE PROS AND CONS:

I'd say it's fun, but only for one go.

I've got to say, the staff is super helpful if you get lost or need assistance. They'll literally come and find you and make sure you're good to go.

They even give you gloves! It's a nice touch.

It's definitely a unique experience.

The mirrored illusion is amazing.

However, it can get a bit crowded, and that's when the experience starts to fall apart.

All in all, if you love mirrors, luxury, and all the glitz and glamour that comes with it, then this maze is a must-visit!

From me, it's a 5-star rating and a solid recommendation to check it out!
