Let's face it, progress never stops, and gas stoves have long since replaced soldering irons. Although the gasless option is still widely used.
But in this review, we'll focus on the gas variant, using the Maximum Gas Stove with Piezoelectric Ignition MX08403 as an example.

I'm not one for impulse purchases, and I kept putting off buying a gas stove for a while.

But when I went on a fishing trip last autumn, I realized it was time to get a gas stove, as carrying a gas grill wasn't always convenient. This variant fit perfectly in my backpack, and I had a portable cooking station with me at all times.

At the store, I had two options, and I ended up buying the more expensive one, simply because I'm used to doing that. Although we now know that a higher price doesn't always guarantee better quality.
But this gas stove, even though it's pricey, isn't the most expensive one, so I went with it.
It's also a nice souvenir from a place near Yessenin's hometown (it was on the way to the Meshcherskaya Lowland).

And of course, I couldn't forget to pick up some gas. I found a good deal for 100 rubles (the link is at the bottom of this review).

And there you have it - a gas torch.
The gas torch for ignition is used as a directed flame source with a candle-like structure, where the temperature of the flame in the main flame zone reaches 1300°C. The torch works on gas fuel from standard cylinders, and there is no soot formation during combustion.
Naturally, it's all plastic (externally) and made in China.

It's got all the features of a full-grown torch, including adjustable gas flow, which, of course, affects the temperature of the combustion.

The nozzle is ceramic. That might explain the slightly higher price.

The cylinder itself is secured in the valve. Just insert it and turn the nut. And that's it - the torch is ready to go.

The flame burns so cleanly that it's almost invisible. I had to light some grass to make the flame visible in the photo above.

As you can see from the photo above, this torch can melt sand, and with a bit more practice, we could be making our own glassware. Just be careful not to adjust the flame too much, or you might end up burning through a thin pot.
