I've already written a lot about the face and body care from Laboratory ICHTHYONELLA's 'Index of Naturalness', but I just couldn't get around writing about their lamellar cream 'PROTEIN NUTRITION Mango Oil'. I took this cream-sauce to try it out completely, as almost all of this brand's body care products have already pleased me. Specifically, I bought this jar on Wildberries, and at the time of purchase, the price was 160 rubles for 300 ml.

Composition
I've gotta say, the ingredients in all ICHTHYONELLA products are seriously impressive. They've got a ton of natural oils, moisturizing components, amino acids, and other beneficial stuff. And they're all mixed together in a lamellar emulsion, which takes it to the next level. And all this for 160 rubles? It's a total steal.
One of my favorite ingredients is pantothenol, squalene, and urea. I'm totally obsessed with this stuff.
🌿 Packaging, texture, and scent
The cream comes in a 300ml bottle with a pump dispenser. The dispenser is adjustable, which is great, but it's got one major flaw - the nozzle is too short. When there's about a quarter to a third of the product left, the dispenser stops working. You have to unscrew the bottle to get the last bit out, which is a real pain.
The texture of the cream is just right - not too thick, not too runny. It's easy to apply and doesn't leave any residue. The color is a lovely yellowish-beige.
My biggest issue with this cream is the fragrance. It's got this super strong, overpowering mango scent that lingers on the skin for ages. When my husband uses it, I can smell it from the other side of the room. I'm not a fan of sweet scents, and this one's got me totally annoyed.

I've got super dry skin on my body, and after a shower, it gets all tight and uncomfortable no matter what moisturizer I use. So, I always apply a cream or lotion after showering.

When I first got this mango lamellar cream, I thought I'd use it on both my hands and body, just like other products from this brand. But let me warn you: I didn't use it on my face, and I wouldn't recommend it for that either. For your face, it's better to use a specialized cream designed specifically for that, not a multi-purpose product.
My experience with it as a hand cream
I have dry hands, so I need to use a moisturizer constantly. This lamellar cream is perfect for that. It really does a great job of hydrating my skin, and it's not just a surface-level moisturizing – it actually gets absorbed into my skin.
It absorbs really well into my skin, eliminating dryness and tightness. My skin feels smooth right away, and I even think it looks more even-toned. My cuticles are hydrated and look healthier. The comfortable feeling from using the cream lasts until my next wash with soap.
If my hands are super dry, I layer the cream on top, and it works great. At night, I can even add a drop of dexpanthenol, and it's like a nourishing mask for my hands. Even when I layer the cream, there's no residue left when I wash my hands – it all gets absorbed into my skin.
The cream absorbs quickly without any residue, so I don't need to spend a lot of time rubbing it in. This makes it perfect for using on the go at home or at work.
My experience with it as a body lotion
As a body lotion, this lamellar cream is also great. It absorbs quickly into my skin, thanks to its lightweight texture, so I don't need to spend a lot of time rubbing it in. I can get dressed right away without worrying about leaving a greasy mark.
My skin feels hydrated, smooth, and comfortable to the touch. This feeling lasts until my next shower. It also works great on my dry elbows, but it's a bit weak for my dry heels.
I think my skin even looks better after using the cream – it's like a whole new me. I tried to show that in the before-and-after comparison.
But there's one major downside. I just can't stand the sweet mango scent. The smell of mango makes my stomach turn. I left the bottle open for a while, and the smell did fade a bit, but not completely. Mango smells like skin, mango smells like clothes, mango smells like my cat, mango smells like my husband. That's just too much.

Everyone else, think twice before committing to this scent.
