A Tropical Delight from Coffesso: Mango-Melissa Aroma-Drip Coffee Review

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm obsessed with Coffesso's Mango-Melissa aroma-drip coffee. The flavors of mango and melissa are a match made in heaven, and the build quality is seriously impressive. The price is a bit steep, but the value for money is decent. I've been using it for a week, and the battery life has been a total game-changer. My only gripe is that I haven't been able to find it in local stores yet, but I've discovered a seller on WB who sells it for a lower price. Overall, I'd highly recommend this coffee to anyone looking for a unique flavor experience.

Hello everyone!
I've been trying out three new flavors from Coffesso's aroma-drip coffee line, and I'm really impressed. The flavors of "Pistachio-Strawberry" and "Mango-Cloudberry" really stood out to me. I've seen in reviews that they've brought these flavors to the "Pyaterochka" retail chain, but I haven't found them in stores in our city yet. However, I did find a seller on WB who sells this coffee for cheaper than in the retail stores.
The price at the time of ordering was 167 rubles.

The price in "Pyaterochka" and "Lenta" was 229.99 rubles on sale.
The package contains five packets.
Ingredients:
The packaging is really cool, with colorful packets. One of the packets I have is a nice yellow. On the bottom, there's a list of the ingredients and some info about the producer. The roast level's listed as medium, which is right up my alley. On the top, there's a little corner with the number of packets. And on the back, you can check out the instructions for brewing with the drip packets. The packaging's got a little dotted line for easy opening. You can store the packets in this packet, but I like to transfer them to a separate container where I keep all my drip coffee. Inside, you've got these shiny yellow packets with filters, and they're foil-lined for extra protection. The design's the same as the packet, and there's a little notch for easy opening.
These filter things, or drippers, are basically like tea bags, but bigger, and they've got special little ears that you hang them from your cup. For ease of use, it's better to use a tall, not-too-wide mug - I don't have one at home, so I've been making this coffee in a regular cup that I use for tea or coffee. It's just the right size, and the dripper stays put nicely. To make this coffee, you just hang the dripper over your cup, tear off the top of the filter, and pour 3-4 shots of boiling water through it. I usually pour the last shot directly onto the coffee, so the filter isn't touching it. I pour in around 180-200ml of water and add a bit of milk. I'm not a fan of straight black coffee - it's just too strong for me, unless it's instant, and even then it's not my go-to. So, I always add milk, and this method is no exception.I've got to say, the aroma of this coffee is absolutely divine. The coffee itself smells amazing, just like you'd find in a coffee shop, and the mango and blueberry flavorings are really nice and natural. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this combination, especially with coffee. But I love the taste and smell of blueberries and mango, so it was a pleasant surprise. The coffee turned out to be really tropical, but with a rich and full-bodied coffee flavor that's not at all watery or acidic. Out of the three flavors I've tried from Coffesso, only the orange-chocolate one has a hint of acidity, but the other two are spot on. And despite the fruity and floral notes, the coffee isn't weak at all - it's actually quite robust. Of course, it's even better with milk, which makes it smoother and creamier. I always think of flavors like this as being best paired with milk.
This coffee is a real energizer! It's got a great flavor that's both rich and unique. And the best part? It's really affordable - a single cup costs around 30-40 rubles, which is way cheaper than what you'd find in most coffee shops and definitely better than what they serve in stores like Pyaterochka. The coffee is also way more flavorful than what you'd get from a coffee machine or a single-serve coffee maker.
I'd definitely recommend giving this a try!
I'll share more about the lingering flavor in my next review!
