I'm excited to share my first review on IRECOMMEND, and I hope you'll find it super helpful. I've been a loyal Magnet customer for a while now, and I've been using their app to save money on my daily shopping. Saving our family budget has become a top priority for me since I've been out of work for over half a year.
My husband's the only one working, so I'm always on the lookout for ways to cut costs and make the most of our money. Before, I'd check the items against the price tags and then look at the end to see how many bonus points I'd earned. It's possible to get 3.2 bonus points from a 1,500-ruble purchase, or maybe 25 bonus points from a 500-ruble purchase – it depends on whether the item's on sale or not.
I was really intrigued by the offer to sign up for Magnet Plus Premium. I read the terms several times, checked out the reviews, and decided it was something I needed. Since it was the end of October, I decided to connect it from November 1. The first month's free, and then it's 99 rubles a month.
What really caught my attention was the offer to give me 350 bonus points for signing up, which are credited to my account within 10 days after the first free month and the first paid subscription. And then I saw another offer – they promised an additional 500 bonus points for signing up. Although I'd already made up my mind, this just made me even more excited.
So, on November 1, I clicked the 'connect subscription' button and added my payment cards for future subscription payments. And that's it, it's active now.
I first added my favorite categories, which have expanded significantly with the subscription. As you can see in the photo next to the category, there's a % icon, which means I'll get a discount even on sale items.
This is really important because, just like everywhere else, the cashback in Magnit is only for non-sale items. Although special offers, coupons, and the like do apply to yellow-tagged items, and that's clearly stated in the special offers.
So, in November with my Premium subscription, I can buy items from the Fairy line with a 30% discount on all items in that range, Always pads with a 15% discount, and plenty more in Magnit Cosmetics.
Yesterday, I actually needed some of the items on that list. I bought 2 packs of Always pads and a Fairy tub for 309 rubles in Magnit Cosmetics.
The cashback for the purchase was 63 rubles. Before heading to the store, I browsed through the T-Bank offers and saw a cashback for Always 100% pads. After buying them, I scanned the receipt in the bank app.
The bank credited me with 130 rubles within 30 minutes, so they actually ended up being a plus – the Magnit cashback for them was added today.
Another thing I wanted to mention is that with the subscription in Magnit, I get 5% cashback, and in Magnit Cosmetics, it's 10%, so I shop where it's more beneficial.
For example, I can buy cat food in either store, but I opt for Cosmetics because of the higher cashback.
Here, you can also see that the 10% cashback applies to purchases in Magnit Market. I took advantage of this in combination with a special offer.
I'm really happy with the cashback I got. The real cherry on top is the bonus from Magnit for subscribing.
I got the promised 500 rubles on November 11th. I'm pretty sure the remaining 350 will be credited to me on December 1st when I renew my subscription.
I didn't even bother calculating the total cashback for the month, but I'll definitely do it on December 1st. And the best part is, I haven't paid a single ruble yet. The free period is still ongoing.
I'm excited to see how much more I can save with my Magnet Plus Premium subscription.
