Last year, my husband surprised me with a new smartphone on New Year's Eve, which came with a pair of earbuds - the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5 Pro. The first device came with a case, while I completely forgot about the second one, which unfortunately reflected poorly on the external appearance of the case. Especially after my daughter slowly but surely squeezed them. When they came back to me, it was already too late to do anything, so I had to buy a case. Luckily, you can find anything on marketplaces, so after the first search, I found the necessary option and ordered it. It turned out to be a silicone case from Maestro.
There are plenty of such accessories out there, but the brand is different. I even thought I was on AliExpress, where they sold the same cheap stuff under different brands. In essence, the principle is the same on Ozon and VTB.

The earbuds came in a regular transparent package with a zip lock that could be easily opened by pulling the tabs in opposite directions. So, the packaging is not sealed, but the product is specific, so it's only meant for the potential buyer.
The case was inside in a shapeless mass. And it's not surprising, since it's made of opaque silicone with a Soft Touch coating, so when I picked it up, I was pleasantly surprised. The accessory turned out to be soft and velvety to the touch.
I've used a case with a similar finish before, but for my phone. To be honest, it wasn't super durable, and over time it went from matte to glossy. But considering how often my phone ends up in my hands compared to my earbuds, it's not like it's going to happen anytime soon.
I had six color options to choose from, which is pretty standard - black, white, pink, green, blue, and red. I went with the blue one, which matches my phone case. To be honest, I wasn't really fussed about the color, as long as it wasn't pink or white. Black would've been a good choice, but my earbuds are white, so it wouldn't have been the most practical option. Anyway, I'm happy with my choice.
The case comes with a carabiner, which is a nice touch. It's got a special hole on the case for it, and it's actually really useful for finding my earbuds in my backpack. It's like a keychain, it's always easy to grab. Plus, it's nice to have a metal bit to hold onto when I'm trying to get a grip on the case.
The bottom of the case has a special hole for charging, which is really convenient. It's designed like a lid, so it protects the charging port from dust and other debris.
To make sure the case sticks to my backpack, the inside of the lid has a piece of double-sided tape. I have to say, it's not the most elegant solution, and it's a bit of a pain to remove when I want to change the case. I've tried to take it off, but it's left some residue behind. If I do decide to change it, I'll have to either clean it off or cover it up with a new case.

It fits my backpack like a glove. I was actually thinking of not using the tape at first, but then I realized that the top part of the case would just come off if I didn't. So, I ended up using it, and it's been working out okay so far.
