Lucky Strike Aroma's Fall Debut: A Game-Changing Cigar That's Sure to Impress
I've been waiting for what feels like an eternity for Lucky Strike to release something new, and I'm thrilled to report that their Aroma line is finally here.
My local tobacco shop finally got in the new stock, and I've been itching to try them out for weeks.
I picked up all three new flavors as soon as they were available, and I'm excited to share my thoughts on the Lucky Strike Aroma Brown.
The first thing I noticed about the packaging is how vibrant and juicy it is - the mandala designs really catch your eye.
The brown-chocolate color scheme is both stylish and understated, and the whole line looks really high-end.
On the reverse side, it's mentioned that the filter is aromatized, so the cigarette is without buttons and capsules.
There's a bit of useful information on the side panels, including the nicotine content and the price per pack.
Under the lid, you'll find a pretty standard membrane – nothing too exciting here.
The compact, chubby cigarettes are of a familiar size, but I did notice that some tobacco did manage to spill out when I pulled a few out for photos.
The pack itself is clean, with nothing loose inside, and the cigarettes are made of dark paper with a milk-colored filter tip.
On the filter, there's a single ring of perforation – you can remove the top to make the cigarettes more potent, but I never do that.
First off, I want to highlight that the Lucky Strike Aroma line doesn't come with capsules or buttons, so you can enjoy the aroma straight from the pack.
The aroma is seriously high-end and not at all chemical-tasting, which is a huge surprise given the affordable price.
The filling quality is a bit of a letdown, with a lot of air pockets in the cigarette body – but at this price, it's not entirely unexpected.
The tobacco color inside the cigarette is uneven, and the particles are of varying sizes.
When you take a drag, the first thing you notice is the sweetness of the filter. It's quite pronounced and caught me off guard.
And then, of course, there's the flavor. Usually, budget brands just overpower the taste with a chemical-tasting aroma to mask the low quality.
I've gotta say, the flavor of these Lucky Strike Browns is really something special – the chocolate notes are rich and beautiful.
Honestly, I liked them even more than the Chapman Brown, although the tobacco flavor is a bit more obvious.
But what I love about the Lucky Strike Browns is that the chocolate flavor stays consistent throughout the entire smoke.
It's not overpowering, but it's definitely there.
The tobacco has a nice balance of flavors – there's a slight bitterness, but it's not overwhelming.
It's actually kind of nice.
The tobacco itself is pretty robust, and one cigarette is definitely enough to get me going.
I'm not sure if the quality will degrade over time, but for now, these are some of the best cigarettes I've had.
I'm absolutely loving these cigarettes, and I'll definitely be buying them again.
Hands down, I'd give them a 10/10 and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great smoke.
Right now, there are three flavors in the Lucky Strike Aroma line: Brown, Red, and Yellow.
The Brown flavor is a chocolate flavor that I'm raving about today.
The Red flavor is a sweet and fruity cherry flavor.
The Yellow flavor is a tropical ananas-mango flavor.
I'll be writing reviews for the other two flavors soon.
All photos were taken with my iPhone 11.
Thanks for reading, and I'll see you in the next post!
Pros:
High-end aroma without the chemical taste Rich and beautiful chocolate notes Consistent flavor throughout the entire smoke Nice balance of flavors Robust tobacco
Cons:
Filling quality could be better Uneven tobacco color and particle sizes Some tobacco may spill out when removing cigarettes from the pack
