A Job Center That Falls Short

I recently had a really frustrating experience at the local job center. I'd moved to the area three years ago and had to register with them, hoping they could help me find a decent job. They've got a program for people who move to a new city, but I had no idea about it, and the staff seemed clueless about it too.

They offered me a cleaning job, which was a huge letdown. I stood in line for two months, earning a whopping 1500 rubles a month. Honestly, I was expecting a lot more from them. They never threw any interesting job opportunities my way, and I ended up finding a job on my own.

A few months later, I went back to the job center, thinking maybe they could help me find a new career path, but there were no suitable courses available. I spent six months waiting, and they only paid me for the first three months. To be frank, it was a bit of a waste of time.

When I came in for a follow-up appointment, the staff member asked me why I was still registered, since they weren't paying me anymore. I guess I was hoping for some actual help from them, but it didn't happen.

This time was no different - they didn't help me find a job, and I ended up finding one on my own. To make matters worse, I tried to register with them through the government services website, but they told me to try on my own. That was a bit confusing.

I've never experienced such a lack of competence and apathy from a job center before. In my previous city, the job center was amazing, and the staff actually helped people find good jobs. But this place is a joke.

They're offering people with higher education cleaning jobs or working in a sauna - it's a total insult. I was so disappointed I almost cried. The staff seems to be working on autopilot, just trying to close cases without actually helping people.

They should at least try to match people with jobs that fit their skills. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The staff is only interested in getting paid, not in actually helping people.

I'll make sure to remember the names of the staff members I dealt with - Anna and Galina - and I'll definitely write them down next time. If I ever have to go back there, that is.
